AP Interview: Libyan royal offers to help homeland

ROME (AP) — The great-nephew of the Libyan king ousted by Moammar Gadhafi said Wednesday his countrymen should be allowed to decide if they want the return of the monarchy, offering his family as a "servant of the Libyan people."

In my opinion once again libya will be a puppet country to the west as it once was back in the 1948s and 50s only before Gadhafi came into power the Libyan idrs royal are a conservative power rulers, so is the east of libya, i saw an news article on how there was a family member of the Libyan Royal on the NTC Council was already helping the NTC.


So ATS just what is the real agenda? were the Libyan royal family behind this little uprising in libya agaisnt Gadhafi as a little revenge by Prince Mohammed for the death of his father whom was outset by Gadhafi and the libyan people?


Personally i think its clear that King Idrs is worrshipped among rebels as seen in this picture

i guess some people forget that libya was already a puppet to america and britian way back in the 1950s did you know that libyans worked at casinos when they had King Idrs? those libyans who worked at the us military bases and those who can afford they bought american made cars at the bases and had a wealthy life compared ordinary everyday libyans.

If the Libyan's want to be ruled by a royal familly all the more power to them i say, put it to a vote and find out. That's what freedom is all about what's it to you who they choose to rule them are you Libyan?

I guess i fail to see how holding a democratic election will make them a puppet to the west. My point is it's there country if they want a king put it to a vote, they should be able to choose there own form of govt. it's there country after all.
