From the article:

A number of photos were obviously taken. More than likely, Mr. Obama was not waving in those pictures. For some reason, though, this one was chosen to post on MSNBC's website.

Looking at this picture, I can tell this was a throw a way picture. Many were not looking at the camera.... The only thing odd about this story is why MSNBC chose this picture instead of a better one.

Yeah, I posted in another thread on this topic earlier (apparently it got the old 404). Anyway, this image is clearly not the "official" group photo. If it is, then the photographer should be fired, as he cut people off on both the left and right of the image.

Here is the "official" group photo:

acutally the way ats works in my opinion is:

1. not everyone finds every thread interesting enough to contribute

2. the posters who first creates any given thread is given priority of the secondary and tertiary theads hence those theads are closed.

Dude seriously. for the 4 years I've read this site, the same thing occurs daily. Heck, if I was a moderator, a lot could get accomplished. Wait for it, wait for it. That was the sound of a moderator accepting my challenge and deducting me 1000 ats points. Oooo scary! Seriously. I have no job, no life right now. All I do is lurk on this thing. I don't see why I couldn't help monitor and regulate posts.

I don't know ...

Compared to the other leaders smiling and laughing like they are just having a good time at the photo session, obama seems to have a sort of "deer in the headlights", "George Bush-like" stare.

And a better picture IMO would be of obama out front of the group
towards them. He's done it individually a number of times before, now he could get them all with just one

Lets just be thankful that there wasn't a code fail, or moderator error that caused only the first two words in the thread title to show alone.

Now that would have been embarrassing.

What really happened:

The photographer said "Say Cheese!"

Obama thought he was taking orders for lunch...

How many threads about this stupid photo do people have to make? There's already another one in circulation on here.

Seriously, have we all come to the point where people will use a photo op to bash Obama? Do they not have anything better to do at this point?

It's a good question that demands an answer. I'm sure they'll just squeal to the moderators like everyone else whenever I ask hard questions.

dude, right? This is dumb as is the other one you commented in. Not everything is a conspiracy. Can't we just accept that it's a photo of leaders having a fun moment for a frame?
