Question 2: Do you think it's ok to exaggerate and deliberately mislead people in the name of profit?

Question 3: Do you think it's ok to scare the sh*t out of some people in the name of profit?

People will always try to defend Jones's profiteering in the name of 'truth' 'freedom' etc. It's not much different from the MSM, I know of many cases where Jones is just outright lying, but that seems ok with you coz he's 'one of the good guys', I mean how dumb is that? What I find funny is how some of Jones's followers go on about being 'awake' and using other buzz words, they're no more awake than my cat, they're just trading one world view for another and being manipulated just as easily as all the other people they call 'sheep'.
edit on 24-9-2011 by seabhac-rua because: (no reason given)

I don't think you get it.
Of course Alex Jones lies, sensationalizes,
screams, talks crazy!!
THAT is why I LIKE IT!!

No one is trading there view, no one called you a sheep,
I didn't say I was anymore *awake* then you are as your reading this right now.

Don't need the geek squad protecting me from the dangers of *the jones*.
If your taking everything Jones says as holy then you need a shrink..

Ya, there is a ton of uninformed people that just use Alex as their only source of info. but his show is just the home shopping network for conspiracy theorists!

You might, but don't group *every* Jones liststener as some nutjob.

People watch a movie, or go to a ball game, a race, for what?
To be entertained.. Do you believe movies are not sensationalized
by actors? Or a proffesional sports man does not train hard so that YOU
can be entertained (and make money of course by spending it on there stuff).
That is why I turn AJ on. He works hard to entertain you and deserves what ever
money he makes off of whoever chooses to spend money on him.

You very obviously don't have any concept of what ethical conduct is with regards to broadcasting.

Send AJ some money if you like him that much.

The first thing they teach you in journalism class is that the medias #1 goal is to make money

Hey guys dumb question time

What is NLP ?

Is it "Neuro Linguistic Programming" ?

AJ can be entertaining in short doses. Imho the guy is about as believable as "Professional Wrestling" but good for a laugh. Kinda off topic a bit but I have to say when I watched the first few episodes of Jessie Ventura conspiracy show and saw AJ on it as a supposed credible source of info for the show my opinion of Jessie went into the toilet.

The show itself is just poor scaremonger material trying to be overly dramatic imho. Watch the "FEMA Camp" episode it pretty much speaks for itself. Of course it could never be anything else or it probably wouldn't exist.

Anyway am I correct on the NLP thing ?

Thanks guys

Alex Jones is an attention whore and likes to over dramatize things but at least 75% of what he says is true. If you don't believe something he says, take the time to research it before you discredit him.
