Japan defence firm Mitsubishi Heavy in cyber attack

www.bbc.co.uk

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) said viruses were found on more than 80 of its servers and computers last month.

The Article seems to indicate that the finger of blame for this attack is pointing towards the Chinese.

My question is though, is finding Chinese Language script in the data they've got from the cyber attack, a little too obvious?

Perhaps an attack by some other government/independant group designed to look like it originated from China?

iirc, Japanese can be written with Chinese characters (Kanji). Is it possible that this was an attack by a rival Japanese firm?

Some Japanese Kanji and Chinese characters are the same, but most of the time the meaning is different. Plus Japanese has Hiragana and Katakana too which Chinese doesn't. To any Japanese person, or any foreigner who's got some Japanese language skills it's easy (with a seconds glance) to tell the difference, so I think you can rule that theory out.
