Yeah its looking more and more serious over there these days....
The PKK were very likely the culprits i think....but who prodded their endeavours?
The Isrealis have worked with the PKK for a long time.
Also i understand they have trained the Kurds in Iraq too.
The idea that a war will involve just the opponents specified (add yer fave list) is shear folly .
Far too much meshing of wants and desires to have any kind of peacful resolution .
If any two get at it then there will inevitably allies and treaties invoked.
War in the mideast means wider consequences for the whole world.
China may take advantage of the distraction to suddenly decide to annex back Taiwan.
NK may decide they are at optimum to attack SK,
Saudi Arabia may be dragged into conflict with Iran as well if Isreal attacks Iran.
Surely the gulf would run red with the blood of several navies by the time the thing got started,
I think seriously nuclear war there would be the early outcome of hostilities.

For all the "Israel did it" scholars - when Israel was involved with PKK? Turkey was almost always neutral or even pro-Israeli, it was first nation in Middle East to recognize Israel. PKK does not use Israeli weapons. As for Israeli trainers - i doubt that Israel was risking Turkey becoming an enemy by sending personal there.
Of course it all changed few years ago, and Turkey is not friendly nation - but PKK terrorists are there for more then few years and those terror acts sadly happened too long, long before Turkey and Israel parted.
In Iraq it is another story. Israel always supported Kurds in Iraq and sent aid and people there. But it is not PKK. Even Turkey has "embassy" of Iraqi Kurds.

If Israel didn't do it, it must be at least funded by Mossad.

Found it odd that this news report from a tabloid has been 404'd.

Also only two are confirmed dead which I think we should be thankful for.

Just another burst of sparks next to a powder keg that is bursting at the seams. How many more sparks before one takes hold and lights the whole thing?

I thought the middle east still had some time before it would go off big time. However the events of the last week or so make it seem that this region will go up in flames much sooner, indeed imminently.

It's because it happened in 2011. Some news sites keep their articles for years while many don't

Worst so far.

There are still eleven months left in the year and not unlike a Nobel Peace Prize, it would be foolish to bestow this honor prematurely

It's an indirect message to Senator Chuck Hagel .

This message is to remind him the fact that he will be forced to alter his foreign policy .

This is no Mossad operation imho .
