i have a few favorites from my childhood, that i remember very well and they bring back many happy memories playing with them. hour after hour, for years and years, i played with my mom, my grandmother and my friends, or just by myself..."dont break the ice" > www.amazon.com... "lite brite" > www.amazon.com... "electronic battleship" > www.amazon.com... of course the versions that i played with were the older versions of these games from the 70's and 80's...

Well..."Hot Wheels" were a favorite as were toy guns...but the best was a home made Go-Kart that me and my friends made.

But we forgot the brakes!
Almost got ran over by my Mom.

Yep, you guessed it...the folks dismantled that beast, but quick.

Lesson learned....and we moved on to explosives with black powder we found at the farm.

Uh...we survived..but did learn some lessons as well there too.

Good times.

An empty metal Band Aid box, and the real Gilbert Jr. Chemistry set...the one in the tri-fold metal box with real chemicals in little glass bottles for kids. And a glass triangle prism. Now, you get to guess how old I am...

ETA...one time I mixed up a bunch of chemicals in that band aid box, it made a gel, then set it on fire..and it wouldn't go out for anything....scared me, it did.

Forgot to add BB gun wars in the neighborhood. They were quite fun as well.

And yes, we did wear safety glasses/goggles. We weren't totally stupid...just mildly so.

The rest of y'all had some pretty tame childhoods.

Or are ya just ashamed to admit to some of the idiotic things we did as children....just for fun?
