The latest from Chris Busby. Very good.

Very interesting video, however saying a child breaths in the same way as a car air filter is nonsense unless that child runs around at speeds averaging 55mph with a large plastic scoop pushing air into their mouth.

I feel sick. I can't articulate how I feel about the situation. Mankind wants smiting for thinking he can harness the Universes' most powerful energy source, and cut corners at the same time.

What is even worse (and should be viewed the same way as Nazi war criminals for the concentration camps) is how our "leaders" and others constantly lie and mislead when they have just committed the single greatest act of destruction and harm upon the planet because of knowingly lax design and safety in the name of profit.

Even the after-effects of Chernobyl have yet to be fully realized; it will be decades before the full extent of the damage from Fukushima is known.

Thank you for all of the additional information, I apologize for not seeing it sooner.

I have not seen the infant mortality rate information yet, so thank you for bringing this to my attention, however I cannot help but fear what the next 5 to 10 years may hold for us. Very disheartening.

Seems the rocky mountains catch the most radiation...most likely due to the way the mountains are formed from north to south. Like an unfortunate radiation net.

Clearly . . . not only are we

NOT IN KANSAS ANY MORE . . .

we are not anywhere close to sanity in such matters any more.

What is the average Japanese on the street saying to their colleagues, friends and family about all this?

How many of them search out alternative news?

The huge majority do not visit the so called "Alternative Press",
until now they use messages Sites ala Twitter and Facebook,
they use Blogs and they use the data the Government provide!

There is also the Idea of "Shoganai",
F'Shima happened and we can't change this

We all try to live with this disaster and we do it already well,
now we need more Brainstorming and Think Tanks!

That is very sad. Your people are dying faster than ours, but we're all in it, heck I'm down wind of you in California. I'm sure I've shares some radiation with you. Not to mention the oceans totally screwed, and all that. I mean come on. You government lies to you and panders to your corp's, just like ours. I can't believe how calm your people have been.

The radiation is killing millions of Japanese at the least, just not yet.

You must be saying that a news agency, hungry for news ignores this becuase of....????

So the government runs the news agencies?

So nothing about the government or anything is ever revealed in your country?

Rethink the logic.

For the same reasons MSM here in the US doesn't report on things they should. Sheeesh.

Dear Japan : Drop LIQUID NITROGEN & DRY ICE CO2 on your goddamned Fukushima nuke reactors NOW, Already, Please, Thank you. Why ? Shock cooling -- Smothering -- Formation of solid nitrides, nitrates, carbonates, &c... It worked @ Chernobyl ( Tons of Dry Ice CO2 dropped by helicopter ). Still can't figure it out ? Ask "Red" Adair : He used liquid nitrogen to extinguish oil well fires in Kuwait ( Pop. Sci., Jan 1991 ) . Japan Syndrome : Meltdown + Denial = Globicide Soon the "Tread" will come off Japan ... INTERESTING. THX.

Is the Japanese "grapevine" as extensive, operative and quick as the Chinese one? I suspect it may well be. If so, a LOT gets communciated on that . . . and more or less accepted as at least TENTATIVELY TRUE.

There is also the Idea of "Shoganai",

Ahhhh . . . yess . . . stoic resignation to fate.

We all try to live with this disaster and we do it already well,
now we need more Brainstorming and Think Tanks!

That could be productive . . . a lot more productive than sticking one's head in the contaminated sand.

Even informal local community oriented think tanks made up of brighter, more creative . . . folks . . . those able to think outside the box . . . some respected wise old codgers . . . could come up with some helpful stuff for community organizing around practical solutions . . . at least practical measures lessening the traumas and problems.

Just the doing of such would help lessen a lot of stress on a lot of folks' part.

imho.
