It wasn't aligned perfectly on March 15th. It was just a much better "alignment" than the 11th. There is still the fact that it was below the ecliptic at that point making any kind of alignment impossible.

YES.

however, JPL diagram gives an approximate measurement in context of the basic idea at issue, and the fact that it was "below" the solar plane, would be IRRELEVANT in context that EU theorists might hypothesize in terms of alignments of this nature.

but are you saying modern science has the tools to PERFECTLY measure such planetary interactions and processes?

there's no way to know for sure either way.. so its speculation... however as i've suggested, when all the coincidences are put in context, the question of fudging or whatever, takes on new meaning and is not illogical or unreasonable to consider during this timeframe.

either ELENIN.ORG fudged the numbers, OR JPL's numbers are fudged, OR MPC sent FUDGED numbers that LEAKED OUT accidentally on ELENIN.ORG (or whoever they got that data from), and were CORRECTED by Elenin.org which looks like they just made a mistake to the public.

But then, what if there's some ANOMALIES with ELENIN.ORG and there's odd links to the GOVERNMENT and NASA etc etc??

wouldn't that also suggest further, that ELENIN.ORG isn't INDEPENDENT? and could have deeper links on the inside with GOVERNMENT agencies?

i've looked into the links, and there ARE ANOMALIES i noticed.

Elenin.org was created by Mark Shelly, a fundamentalist "End Times" charismatic Christian preacher and motivational speaker. It was the first site to reference the "Hopi Prophecies." It appears never to have been updated since its creation in February of this year as it makes no references to the alleged earthquake "alignments." In other words, the "discrepancies" are due to it using outdated data.

As has been stated numerous times in the past, even if Elenin broke up its orbit wouldn't change. Furthermore, the orbit diagram hasn't used any observations since August 1.

If you want to accurately compare celestial objects in relation to Earth you should use the Horizon system. It even says this right on the JPL orbit diagram. When you do this and compare the ephemerides of Elenin and the Sun you will see that the closest they came to an alignment was March 15.

It's not even the fact that it's composed by out of date info. It appears they have falsified info. On the site they have their own orbit diagram that is supposed to show what the JPL orbit diagram showed on March 30. However, it can be easily proven that their orbit diagram is wrong because there are pictures of the JPL orbit diagram from that same day and they don't match up at all. Then when one looks at the source code of their orbit diagram, the numbers are way off. So much so that the only way to screw up that badly would be to do so on purpose.

Not to be rude, Space.com is a dubious source at best. The site is ran buy a content mill. The primary purpose of the site is to sell advertisements. They take legitimate content alter the wording and call it their own. I would take anything on space.com with a huge salt shaker.

So is there any reason to believe that NASA/JPL would cover up an impending comet impact? Who do they answer to? Where does their raw data come from, and is it possible for the public to access that data?

Is it too paranoid to assume that certain people "in the know" who would want to warn us have been threatened with death by torture should they try to blow the whistle?

Just take a gander at what our western leadership is doing in Libya and how well that have obscured the information coming out of a war for crying out loud.

If NASA/JPL answers to that same body of governance, we are well and truly buggered.

Go ahead it proves and demonstrates nothing. Animals have been tested and in formal testing where animals are observed their is no indication. Were it that easy to do behavioral scientists would be using animals for detection. They don't because it does not work.

You might think about finding better sources for information than hoax videos.

Nasa shows Elenin's orbit unchanged. That proves there is a possibility that it has not broken up.

Whether intact or in pieces, the orbit does not change. The same forces are at play on the comet.

JPL does not concern itself with the ludicrous notion of alignments. So no, not according to JPL. It is according to someone using an app supplied by JPL.

This is not a matter of semantics. It is about the tired practice of connecting meaning to alignments by hoaxers. The alignment was 5 days after the Japan quake yet hoaxers pretend that is not true. Hoaxers pretend that events occurred when they did not. Now hoaxers are suggesting some sort of lead time or lag time. It reminds me of the sportscasters that talk about hang time in basketball. Send those nuts back to elementary school for a refresher course.
