The comments by the users in the comment section is just pure garbage most be bunch of rich folks posting claiming that the protesters dont have a clue what they are protesting about

only one person gets it right.

the naysayers here are a bunch of cowards. The protesters have pried themselves away from their life to do SOMETHING about the crisis we are ALL in. Whether this works or not, it's a start in the right direction while you all live life on the sidelines and complain about the nuances of the game. Good Lord, have your dog get you another beer and the remote control and get back to watching your life waste away.... show more show less

Best quote of the day from the protest organizers.... "Attendance was so poor, we've changed the name to "OccupyFourInchesOfWallStreet".

losers eh?

What a bunch of losers. Most don't seem to know what they're protesting about. Only that they're not satisfied with their situation. I see it as a call for more socialism and handouts. show more show less

ROFLMAO -- Maybe they had 500 people .. well 300 people and 200 curious onlookers .. well maybe 100 believers, 200 showing up for the day, and 200 curious onlookers. And they are standing around HOPING it will swell to 20,000. LOL .... What's even funnier is the first thing they planned to do when people showed up was meet around the Bull to decide on what they wanted to demand! That's right, it's a protest called when they don't even know what their demands are .. we'll have a meeting on that to decide! OMG -- I'm am going to laugh myself to sleep tonight thinking of this stupidity. Especially the idiot who spent $300 on a train from FL to NY (I looked up some flights, you can get a one way speciall for around $150 if you don't mind odd hours flying). show more show less

ROFLMAO! In June, the groups advocated this comedy called for 90,000 to show up today. In July, they lowered it to 75,000 due to a lack of interest. In August, they announced it would be 25,000 and this week they claimed it would be 20,000. And today... they had fewer show up than one Starbucks location serves in 1 afternoon!!! BBWWAAAHAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! show more show less

Ah..... poor baby. Did your "protest" turn out to be a turd? Angry and bitter because only a handful share your warped views? Or maybe you're still bitter about that rectum ripping that voters gave you last November!!! show more show less

Is this that riot you are talking about Mayor Bloomberg? show more show less

For once i wish for the markets to crush, maybe then they will learn a lesson
you see the comments by americans on CNN? CNN is doing such a fine job brainwashing the people.

I guess more people didnt show up because they were bunch of sheeps, watching fox or CNN all day and trading.

Someone posted a thread similar earlier, but claimed 50,000 were on the streets.

The group purposefully politicized the event, alienating a lot of people. The organizers are self professed "lefties", they had no idea what they were protesting, only that it would be decided after the protest started, and that they hoped it wouldn't be to radical of a left wing demand.

In the end there is no organization, no clear goal, no expected outcome, and no set ideology..

It was a farce.

Yoga at a protest?
