The Mexican Standoff.

From Wiki

A Mexican standoff is a slang term defined as a stalemate or impasse; a confrontation that neither side can foreseeably win.[1] The term is most often used in lieu of 'stalemate' when the confrontational situation is exceptionally dangerous for all parties involved

I was rewatching one of my favourite Korean movies last night and this has to be one of the funniest mexican standoffs ever done on screen, (and the longest).

Welcome to Dongmakgol.

Definitely either Tarantino's Reservoir Dogs scene or the Inglorious Basterds Scene in the Bar. The best Mexican Standoffs are the ones where the characters are aware that they are involved in a Mexican standoff.

While not exactly a "mexican standoff" my favorite is a standoff nonetheless.

Can't remember which Snake Plisken movie it was, but there was a great one there...would have to find the clip... He even calls it as a Mexican standoff....
