I have seen a lot of threads bashing one religion or the other from different usually of the OTHER religion and I have a question for all of you....

What is the difference between yours and brand X?

All three believe in one God, the same one really
All three give the same message
All three promote an us against them agenda
All three demote women and childern to a status of property
All three promote slavery
All three allow and encourage violance against the "unbelievers"
All three claim to be the infalible word of God

I think you get the message.

I am serious what makes YOUR version special? Maybe its just because I am a hopeless Heathen but I dont see any REAL difference

Difference is really easy. And they DO NOT believe in the same God. Allah was a Moon god from mecca's polytheistic society before muhommed the pedophile arrived on scene and took the Greatest of the gods as he is still called, and the moon is still in islams symbol... but to the difference.

In Christianity God sent his son to die for you......

In Islam you must send your son to die for god.

Christianity had Jesus
Islam has Muhammad
Judisam is still waiting for their Messiah

That seems to be a big difference for these religons

And don't forget catholics and muslims are both pedophiles, the difference is with these two, one prefers boys and well you know the other prefers little girls...

I was looking more at the overall message than the names of their Messiahs, doctrinaly speaking they are pretty much identical

So really the only difference is two have found theirs and one is still looking.

Seems like a fairly small difference to me

from what i understand, there is no difference REALLY, all three share the same family tree.
think back to the kid abraham disowned (cuz of yaweh and all)... BINGO! islam.
it's an epic-age-old-story for modern readers to write as they read it.
an interesting time for us all.

All three have a vocal minority of insane freaks that end up being a lot louder than the quiet majority of normal, peaceful people in the religions.

There are Jews who do not believe in Israel and want a peaceful dismantling of the state.

There are Christians who do their own thing and won't fight - ever.

There are Muslims who embrace non-violence.

Then,

There are Jews who want Israel to control the world.

There are Christians who want Chrisitanity to control the world.

There are Muslims who want Islam to control the world.

Therefor, the three religions are a lot more alike than they are different.

The only difference I see is the era in which they killed others in the name of their god.

That is pretty much my point if you just sit back and compare the three without prejudice its hard, if not impossible to tell the difference

I can quote passages, in the Bible at least, to back up EVERYONE of my claims

There are passages telling you how to treat your slaves...to only enslave those who are non-jews and such

How if you rape a mans daughter you owe HIM the bride price

I will post the passages tommorow I have to go to bed soon

What they preached was very different , Jesus claimed to be the son of God and was a pacifist.Muhammad was far from a pacifist and never claimed to be the son of God. I dont know which person in Judisam to compare these two people too. The teachings in the New testament are very different from that of the Old testament. The god in both these books does not appear to be the same or if they are then he calmed down alot.

Oh really. The bible is full of the Jews killing for their god.
I'm sure the Crusades were a lovely time for those not Christian.
Look around today mate, all three are going at it. I think you should look into a history book before you go at members like that.OK?

Independentjournal friend, don't waste your time replying to this biker kid, it is obvious the he is not looking for answers, his ignorance is quite remarkable, and it is also obvious that his only intentions are to upset some and to find like minded individuals to justify his thinking patterns.

This "kid" you're talking about is a Viet Nam vet. I also noticed that you waited for him to go off line before posting this. You did not address the topic at all, you just attacked a member. If you don't like it here go back to "The Independant Journal."

All 3 are part of mankinds current dilusional state. I suspect it will be another 1000 years before most of humainity has given up on the invisible men in heaven. Untill then we will fight on and kill in the name of invisible men. heh

You are probably right, as long as we don't do it here.
