Evanescence And Amy Lee the Goddess Of my Heart LOL.

I just want to put this out there incase Amy Lee is a ATSER lol wouldnt that be awesome? This Is kind of Old news i suppose but Im super stoked that Evanescence has made their return! I have been a Fan from the start. Even lisented to their music on the way to the my mothers funeral, it helped me cope. Evanesences new song DO WHAT YOU WANT is simply fantastic! I wont post the video because i dont know how to embed ..yeah im a lame-o like that. But im sure everyone on this site knows their way around youtube

I think Amy Lee ( coming from a woman) is Gorgeous, Strong, Very talented, Funny( if you ever seen her out of her element) and stays absoulutly true to who she is! I have alot of respect for her and i just had to make this post to let it known. All Evanesence fans back me UP! Share the Amy Lee love! Whos excited their back?

And real Goth music is supposed to sound like this.

But if you happen to like Evanescence you would probably enjoy this more.

Yeah I like Arch Enemy, We will rise is one of my favourites of theirs.

The new song sounds very much either written on heavily influenced by Lacuna Coil, I was quite surprised. I do like Evenescence though, she has a great voice. Haunting at times.

Really??? It is just as hard to learn how to do death metal vocals well as it is to sing well. This is fact. You have to be able to do it without destroying your vocal chords. Some of the top metal musicians pay up the nose to be trained to do this.

This woman has taught some of the best that metal has to offer. She is 65 and charges 75 bucks an hour.

Its like filling a room with crack addicts and dumping free crack from the ceiling on to them.

What bothers me about this band is how blatantly they ripped off the Goth style without actually being a Goth band.

If they were true fans of Goth music they have done an injustice to the genre.

If they were never fans of Goth music they are just a bunch of ripoff artists.

The music is really generic and bland, they only thing they really have going for themselves is the fact that she can sing well and how she dresses like a Gothic prostitute.

That's what I thought.
I took my wife to see them a few years ago. The band was having a bad night.
She changed up the Song set, and shortened the show. The guitar player got upset and tossed his guitar back over his head and into the curtains. She claimed to have been partying too hard and was hung over.
The sound was good in the venue...And what they DID play was good. She does have a great voice.
But, after that, I doubt my wife has played any of their music even once.
Just an odd concert.

Oh God...Another album my husband will torture me in the car with.
