Yeah well Romney, if the MSM were doing their job and spreading this far and wide, your candidacy would be OVER.

Mitt Romney: Dick Cheney Is 'The Kind Of Person I'd Like To Have' As Vice President

Mitt Romney doesn't yet know if he'll win the Republican bid for president, but he's already thinking of the type of running mate he'd choose: someone like Dick Cheney.

At a town hall meeting in Arizona on Wednesday, an attendee asked Romney if he would pick a Tea Party member as his vice presidential nominee.

Romney didn't directly answer but instead talked about the virtues of Cheney, who served as President George W. Bush's vice president and became known as "Darth Vader" during his time in office.

“I think it was last weekend, I was watching C-SPAN, and I saw Vice President Dick Cheney, and he was being asked questions about a whole host of issues -- following 9/11, the affairs in various countries in the world,” Romney said. “And I listened to him speak and said whether you agree or disagree with him, this is a man of wisdom and judgment, and he could have been president of the United States. That's the kind of person I’d like to have -- a person of wisdom and judgment."

Yeah except Dick Cheney is a war criminal and a human rights abuser.

Sorry but saying that Dick Cheney is a man of ``wisdom and judgment`` is pure insanity. You just proved that you are insane, Romney. No presidency for you. (of course the crazy neo-cons will disagree)

So in the end, Romney likes Dick.

Cheney is the best VP this country has ever had.

Being hated by the left proves this.

For a guy trying to get into power that is an odd comment. Cheney (purely non-political comment) just didn't have a lot of "stage presence" and came across as stern and angry. I'm not saying he was, just that he didn't look like a "happy warrior." I would not associate myself with him if I was trying to get into power.

Cheney was a huge force for 8 years. Cheney was relevant, unlike most VP's.

I wouldn't say he was the best or worse.

Thomas Jefferson was probably our best.

Lyndon Johnson was probably the worst.

You're right. He was a dedicated man who worked tirelessly to protect this country. Compare him to Biden or Algore. Seriously -- can you imagine Biden being POTUS? Perish the thought!

The mention of his hunting accident should begin in about 3..2..1..

In the current field, I'd reccomend Cain or Bachmann. Or better yet, Gingrich.
