Peace Plan From The Sixties

I would like some ATS people to read through this and comment.
What I find fascinating is if Ron Paul became President he would yank the USA out of the world policemen role, this would cause a natural default to the UN as an unintended consequence.
Although he is against empowering the UN, it would happen anyway.

This document although old is interesting because it shows how America could save billions in militarism.

This looks like something that may have been linked to the Iron Mountain Report. It was stated in it that they were a think tank to go from War to Peace and the processes it would need to complete that task. Unfortunately for every good idea there are always people standing on the side lines to take control and twist it to their benefit. It is well know that instead of disarming actually there has been an increase in arms and wars instead of less. Countries keep their powers by war. Banks make their money by wars. Corporations make their money by wars. The fact that the money, the power, and civilization is in place and stays in place by destruction and mass murder of mankind. I see nothing but more of the same in the future.

The document, written shortly after Kennedy became president is a cross between Paradox and Paradigm while creating a classic Hegelian Dialectic !

In the late 1960's, many think groups viewed this as a plan for a worldwide single and centralized government, as it would certainly take a worldwide military force to "force" every nation to comply !

Look at the U.N.'s record on corruption and general failures in the last 50 years.

There are no provisions for "corruption" enforcement, and more importantly,
no provisions for failure and consequences of failure (other than perhaps, military !)

AND, no real details on FUNDING ... the evil twin -->$$
