Yes indeed, point taken. I'm all for getting into the possibilities, and discussing the strange co-incidences and so on associated with a lot of material on this site, and in the world in general. I love a good conspiracy theory. I wrote my initial post a little hastily and could have explained myself a bit better. It was an all-encompassing reaction and reply to the dozens of sites/vids/blogs I've read over recent months where it honestly seems that some people are so obsessed with the possibilities that they become withdrawn and paranoid. After all, for want of a more family friendly analogy, conspiracy is a bit like porn, you can enter seemingly any event/item with conspiracy/porn respectively at the end and you'll get hits. While it's fact there are things undisclosed to Joe Public, some people think this applies to anything, at all. But as you said, it's good entertainment indeed.

More on topic, if anyone's interested in a visually pleasing and easy way of keeping updated with the latest recorded seismic activity, download earethquake 3d, it's pretty slick. Not spamming, it's free and I don't know who made it.

The weather certainly has gone mad in recent times, that's for sure.

i'm gonna call bunk on this one. The EQ was 626 km deep and the location is much closer to New Zealand than the US. So, really, nothing matches with this theory.

Just my opinion.

How can this 7.3 show the 188 cycle is true? when there was a 7.2 eq on June 24th 2011 then a 7.1 August 31 then the Earth Quakes of Vancouver Island that were down graded to a 6.7..

So stop grabbing at this 188 day cycle because it was broken many times between 188 days

I agree. There HAS been a lot of activity and it's hard to claim this being any different from the previous ones.

Still, IF 'it' is out there, the position of our planet on the other side of the Sun would weaken the effect. OR, 'it' has sped up slightly, which means it will be longer than 188 days...if you catch my drift.

I want to know why Elenin appears to have slowed down then sped up many times over a 36 month period???

I agree about the not matching of the location. But that IS a pattern that would be out of this world...given they're not meant to relate in such a manner.

It makes 'more' sense that simply another EQ happened on a weakened fault line and 'if' something was having an effect it cannot be distinguished from the already increased activity. Unless it has sped up.

In ancient times Orion and Leo were of great significance. Whether it's the Ancient Greeks, the Ancient Egyptians, whatever. Orion and Leo have always been powerful and significant symbols. Even the Georgia Guidetsones contain Ancient Greek and Egyptian Hieroglyphics.

Someone is trying to send you a message. They are no less important today, than they were then.

Why am I mentioning this? Because X1 Elenin is just a message from 'Leo'. Leo is a friend.

Find Orion, he will show you the light. Orion will be your guiding light.

Elenin is not causing earthquakes. It never has been. It will not in the future. It's not going to affect earth.

Light, interesting that you thought about the possibility of a post-1 year 'event' from Elenin.
This immediately brought to my mind that when Elenin first came into public knowledge, some agency reported that there was another body coming through at a 1 year delay then Elenin.

I can't seem to find that post/thread/topic/report. lol~
Although I can't remember exactly the source, I do remember the report.....interesting....

Any thoughts?

It appears you are being extremely selective, I see you have missed out 4 Mag 7+ EQ's in the Pacific basin, three alone in Vanuatu, in the last 30 days, you really should do your homework, rather than cluttering the boards with dross and imagined 'happenings, also do you know how many EQs there are in any given 28 day period throughout the world.
Take your time.

Check out the USGS site for nfo, but then again they are a Gov Dept so are lying!

It doesn't matter how many EQ there were between the 188 days. I know that sounds clever, but it's not, and this is why:

because no matter how many earthquakes there are, we shouldn't be able to predict when any of them are going to happen.

It's not like there's a "we don't know when they happen except the ones that happen every 188 days on cue" rule. See what I mean there?

Feb 27, 2010. Count 188 days up from there and there is a significant EQ everytime. Read my crazy theory for an 'alternative' view.

Why are EQ's happening every 188 days? I agree it's not Elenin now.

I think the most disturbing part of these quakes in the Ring of Fire is that they signify the reawakening of volcanic activity along the ring.

If i remember correctly there is a prophecy in the bible that speaks of a "wheel of fire" reawakening. I'll do some digging and find it and post it in a bit.

Large earthquakes hit that area all the time. Not always 7 large of course. But they are not unheard of.

A 4.7 just hit in almost the same area. earthquake.usgs.gov...

That whole area to the North of New Zealand has been kicking off recently. Been some fives, some sixes... I keep an eye on it. There were probably a dozen quakes in the area that day, same as there are evey day.

It struck 390 miles below the surface for crying out loud, it's nothing. If this is what everyone is predicting Elenin is bringing, then all I've got to say is "so what"? The ground will shake a lot harder than this after you start feeling the effects of a 3 burrito lunch.

On average 15 7.0-7.9 earthquakes happen every year. So seeing as one is going to occur every 23 days, one will likely fall within +/- 10 days of the predicted 188, and it is very easy to pick one of them and say "There it happened!" when in reality it is of very little statistical significance.

Except earthquakes happen everyday, so you are always going to be right. It's predicting the magnitude and location that are important, and this theory failed at both of them.

Nania9 on Youtube predicted that every 188 days Elenin was in alignment with earth, blah blah blah, (Look it up in You tube).....well yesterday was 188 days after the japan quake and 376(188x2) days after the chile quake. There may be a pattern here. Dutincense(u tube channel cancelled) said similar things. No one really knows for sure. There on the surface appears to be a pattern. Quakes most certainly of the 6.0 and above are occurring more rapidly. We have not been here before.....i don't think in recent history. So be the judge. Lots of theories...this is a website full of that...so enjoy,read and learn and filter the info. :-)
