I thought we could all use a bit of good news for a change. The world is full of so much bad news in every direction and Australia was hit particularly hard recently by natural disaster. Here is something to help remember it's not all bad out there.

Australia’s wheat crop is expected to reach 26 million tons and about 80 percent of it is likely to exported, which would mean Australia would move ahead of the European Union as the world’s second-biggest wheat supplier, behind the United States.

That sounds like some much needed supply into a system that has been a bit stretched here lately.

That's the first good news in the agricultural world I have heard in a long time

Hope this isn't off topic, but I wonder if they neglected to use Monsanto seeds.

All you hear about lately is massive crop failures. This news makes me happy.

Sounds good, but who eats bumpers?

I suppose good news isn't the popular type.
Well, Australian Farmers should have a decent winter, anyway.
