4 Quakes of magnitude 6 in about 1 day?!

This .. I noticed came just after the New Zealand ( Downgraded 5.9) and the Honshu 6.0 Something definitely is cooking .. What with the fireball making it to the MSM and all this.. someone was counting 188 days from Chile quake to march 11 quake and today..Thursday was 188 days.. what do you think ?

EMSC says it's 5.2...

No !!!! It's not weird it's normal by earthly standards , why oh why does everyone have to post every quake that happens now? I'll tell you why because after the Japan quake it has given people more to worry about. Now it is normal. When will we stop making excuses for something to happen? There was a guy who made a thread last night and he spoke about how we are searching for "it" by coming on ATS every 5 mins and I agree, if there was no internet like some years ago we wouldn't even pay attention to the quakes. Honestly type in Google 5 quakes a day 2000, and then 6 quakes per day 1995 etc it s is normal, there are people who said the same as the OP since god knows when it shouldn't be like this anymore guys , wake up ..deny ignorance.quakes from 2000 to 2011quakes from 2000 to 2011 5 quakes 1 day there you have it same thing regurgitated over and over and over and over and blah blah blah..

Really I'm just as keen as the next guy to see something massive in the world take place and cause a revolution. I just don't think that and earthquake is the key. yes I know that, and it's cool that you have brought it to our attention as I will now look for results on the net as to whether there have ever been any quakes there. It's just I feel I should comment because if not this thread it will be the next one that's all. Thanks for brining it to our attention tough.

Here is a good chart of earthquake statistics.
According to this, there are roughly 3 - 4 earthquakes a day every year that are 5.0 - 5.9, or roughly 1319 a year.

It also says there should be one 6.0 - 6.9 roughly every three days.

I do think it is very interesting that there have been a series of earthquakes lately in places that generally (as far as i know) do not have quakes too often in recent history, but I can also agree that we are probably just a lot more aware and alert to earthquakes nowadays, especially since Japan and all of us thinking about Oct. 28 2011 and/or the 2012 date.

I definitely think something is changing. We can all feel it. But we should be scientific in our research and accept the fact that not everything we are seeing is in direct result of the approaching changing of times.

I agree, as I am in the same boat.

But we've gotta remember to take all data into consideration, and not just tunnel vision our way to conclusions.
