Dr. Ivar Giaever, a former professor with Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and the 1973 winner of the Nobel Prize in physics, abruptly announced his resignation Tuesday, Sept. 13, from the premier physics society in disgust over its officially stated policy that "global warming is occurring."

Another domino falls...Giaever has taked permanent objection to the statement on warming theory claiming that "the evidence is inconvertible."

The American Physical Society (APS) supports the theory that man's actions have inexorably led to the warming of the planet, through increased emissions of carbon dioxide, and even as the controversy continues, the APS has no plans to revise its official position.

"In the APS it is ok to discuss whether the mass of the proton changes over time and how a multi-universe behaves, but the evidence of global warming is incontrovertible?"

Use of the term "incontrovertible" had already caused debate within the society of which has no plans
to revise its statement.

Giaever contends the term 'incontrovertible' is rarely used in science because by its very nature...science questions prevailing ideas.

Giaver's Nobel Prize winning experimental discoveries were regarding tunneling phenomena in
superconductors...he has since become a vocal dissenter from the alleged “consensus” regarding
man-made climate fears.

I don't understand why you wont believe scientist when they say global warming is true. But instantly accept it as truth when one says it might not be.

I don't believe it is about couldn't be. It is about they say the scientific proof that is isn't happening. According to them the evidence is that it is not occuring. They are one by one coming out and saying that they are no longer going to be part of a lie and fraud being perpetrated on the people for private gain and world domination.

the media twisted the publics view on this so bad
its not about global warming
its about the fact were using a finite resource that doesnt do anyone or anything any good. there are so many natural alternatives that have been hidden because rich tycoons pull all the strings.

I think "man made" global warming hasn't been proven in anything, all science is basically just a bunch of guesses anyway..... who knows which "side" is right.

I am glad to know that there are those who will take a stand for truth. Yes he is noble in my book. I wish more scientists and world leaders would fight so strongly to let us all know the truth of our situation.

wiki is a universal source, yes, just not necessarily a complete or correct one (also proven many times)
