Can anyone recomend some good document editing programs.


Also if you know of any other programs that you enjoy let me hear about them.

I use OpenOffice too. It's a really good office suite that is compatible with Microsoft Office documents.

LibreOffice is also good as it is a fork of OpenOffice.

I have always used Koffice (Kword for documents).
Not sure if its available for windows or mac osx (runs on just about anything else though)

OpenOffice
Libreoffice
Koffice

All good choices of open source editors, theres also some more lightweight programs such as abiword, which does in fact run on most platforms including windows:
