His name is David Thompson. Apparently, this is the issue:


"George Shinn is the owner of the Charlotte Hornets NBA team. To prevent the possibility of competition for use of the new arena (for hockey), he bribed politicians to oppose putting ice in the arena. David Thompson called him on this in a prior meeting, and now David believes that George Shinn and his private helicopterpilot are using scare tactics to intimidate him at his home."
