Taxes To Support Society? You mean Taxes To Support Your Life Style and Your Voters Life Styles.
I'm retired and I don't get to keep that any more, HE//,,,,,,,,,, The Retirees didn't even get a Cost Of Living Raise For The Last Two Obama Years in Office and Now,,,, Obama and his Democrat supporters Say We Don't Need To Keep The Money We Have NOW!
All I can say is,,, you're Lucky my Crazy Little Chinese Wife Didn't Read The B. S. coming from Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky.

Schakowsky: You don't deserve to keep all of your money

Schakowsky said that Americans don't deserve to keep all of their money because we need taxes to support our society.

“I’ll put it this way. You don’t deserve to keep all of it and it’s not a question of deserving because what government is, is those things that we decide to do together. And there are many things that we decide to do together like have our national security. Like have police and fire. What about the people that work at the National Institute of Health who are looking for a cure for cancer,” Schakowsky said.

This Statement Belows Tells you How NUTS This Congress Woman is!!

Schakowsky also says one reason the 2009 stimulus bill did not succeed was because it was not large enough.

Or is this the reason, I'm Now Responsible for your Mortgage, Cell Phone Bill and Car Payment and all your other needs, Is That It? I make To Much Money, Being RETIRED!

The wife and I Like China, Believe it or not, we get to keep our money, They put their poor to work, Street Sweepers, Poop Picker Uppers, Scrap Gum Of The Side Walk, But They work!

I am not sure which America she is in, but from what I can tell Americans do not have any money to keep as it is.

she is right they do need money to opperate maybe they should get into the busisness of making money.

If congress gave me a phone call everytime they were about to do something so I could varify it then we could be working together.

My parents worked their entire lives.
Over 45 years of paying into the system.
They died at the ages of 66 and 68. So after all the money paid into SS and taxes, they actually only got to draw out paychecks for 1 and 3 years.
We had to pay for the funerals with no help and the money they paid into the system is just gone...with no recourse.
There are some hard feelings on my part about anything to do with our 'retirement' funds and politicians.

In other words...I hear ya.

Well, if you pay taxes, any taxes, then you don't get to keep all your money. What's so outrageous about what she said? Brazilians don't deserve to keep all their money either. We have to pay taxes. Just a poor choice of words from her part because it's a very agressive way of saying the obvious, that people have to pay taxes. If nobody paid any taxes, then the structure of our society would crumble as it is. Maybe there is a better system, but if that is, it's a secret, because I haven't seen it.

You could flee from the big city and live with indians in the brazilian rain forest. But guess what, you would still not deserve to keep all the product of your work. Killed an animal with your barehands? Gotta share it. Heck, in some tribes you would even share your wife.

This is one of those things that is going to push the American people to the point of revolt.

At least I hope so. People need to get angry, get together, and change things for the better.

Peaceful protesting does nothing, if anything it just makes the elite laugh at the poor crowd, knowing that it will take more than a few cardboard signs to stop their war machine.

But first the people will have to get angry. And I believe it is things such as taking away people's money that will finally push the people to react.

My Friend she Lives in Obamas America and as far as she is concerned, Obama is the Messiah and if he says Americans are to Rich for their own good and the other Nations Hate Us For Being To Rich,,, Then itis the Duty Of the Party To, Tax Us In To The Streets, Tax Us Until We Depend On The Obama Government For The Vary Air You Breath!!!!!!

I fell your pain, Buried my Mother 12 years ago, was told to contact the Social Security Office, I Did.
They told me, if my mother had paid into Social Security until she had her 20 points, they would have sent me a $250. check to assist with the Funeral Expenses. What a Bunch Of BULL!
She never drew Social Security, My Father was the Bread Winner of the Family, She was a stay at home Mom.
Yes, 50's and 60's.
Father is still alive,,,, Good GENES,,,,,,, and draws Social Security, He lives in my Backyard in a Quest House My wife and I built for him. That is because, he does not make enough to live in a studio apartment and buy food!

Lets take a look at the with-holding from my little retirement job.

FICA-Social Security, FICA-Medicare, FEDERAL - Withholding and AZ STATE - Withholding.
Some people are paying into a 401-K for a Separate Retirement.
Now with us here in the U S of A, It is your call on how much the State Takes From You, That is base on a Percentage Of Your pay You Choice To Be Deducted.
Federal Taxes can be deducted according to your house hold size or choice zero dependents and have much, much more deducted and get more back at tax time.
Now Keep In-mind this is just payroll deductions and not all of them.
You still have Property Taxes, Private Health-care and Vehicle Taxes. There are many more taxes to be considered that you will have to pay, depending on your job, Independent Truck Drivers have a lot of Taxes to pay to each State they do business and the TAX list can go on!!!

The problem isn't so much the idea of taxation, its the amount of it. Lets see...we have federal income taxes, state income taxes, FICA taxes, local sales taxes, property taxes and pretty soon, ObamaCare, which is basically your yearly tax for being alive. Those are just the basics, mind you. Even then, a middle class wage earner is probably looking at shelling out half of his income every year when you add all of those up.

Its no wonder people can't get ahead in this country anymore.
