WOW some new paid Democratic trolls on the site

Go play the race card on some other website, quite frankly after 2.5 years of being beaten over the head with it every time someone attacks Obama's policies it's gotten quite old. Come back when you actually have something of substance to post.

BTW, just noticed your signature.

Love it. And how appropriate for these times as well.

Problem is that the Romans didn't pay attention to Cicero, and we know what happened to them ...

The real problem is that the quote you are talking about is fictional.

Go ahead and look it up.

Always chuckle when I hear or see people saying that the Republicans blocked obama and the democrat's legislation when for two years the democrats had a filibuster proof majority.

More mis-information being spread by you....do you have no shame???

The Democrats held a super majority (kind of...if you include two non-democrat independents) from July 7, 2009 when Al Franken took office until February 4, 2010 when Scott Brown took office.

7 Months....NOT 2 YEARS.

I know you won't stop spreading the mis-information though...because you already know this information...because I have told you before in other threads.

Its funny how far the republicans will go to get the black man out of office,

Obama is one of the worst presidents of the modern era because he's black? I thought it was because he is a corporatist megalomaniac, with psychopathic tendencies.

Go figure.

Anyway, his "jobs bill" is yet another piece of bad legislation from someone that only thinks they know rudimentary economic theory. It's pretty amazing we're even treading water.

There's a cabal of International Socialists running the country right now. There I've said it. I've been paying close attention since the campaign of 08 to what Obama and his Socialist friends are up to.

First, Cicero never said that. Your chain email was wrong.

Second, do you even know what's actually in this proposal? Tax cuts, tax cuts...then there's some tax cuts then a few more tax cuts and some extra money for construction projects.

It's all paid for too, no deficit spending. How? Oh...here comes the class warfare, limiting the itemized deductions for those that make more than $200,000/year ($405 billion) and ending oil and gas subsidies ($41 billion) raising taxes on investment funds, the same ones that make Warren Buffett so rich ($18 billion) and reducing the corporate tax jet depreciation loophole ($3 billion), yes, your taxes go down every year if you own a corporate jet...wouldn't that be nice for your car?

It will lower nearly everyones taxes, if you're a small business owner with less than $5 million in payroll expenses your taxes will go down too. For every new person a small business hires they skip the 6.2% payroll tax for that person for the first year.

It lowers taxes, rebuilds roads and bridges and gives business' a tax break that hire people right now. It's a good idea, of course you're opposed to it.

Care to give a list of the "socialists" that are running the country.

So far you have said Obama...he is sooooooooo not a socialist....so your list isn't off to a good start.

Makes perfect sense. Axelrod is a political hack. He knows that regardless of the passage of this "jobs" bill the unemployment numbers won't rebound by the election, so it is far better that it not pass to give the democrats something hang on the republicans to explain the unemployment. The classic prove a negative game.

Obama actually speaks his mind here, IMO and wants the jobs picture to improve and will take what he can get because he truly wants folks to get jobs. He is, however run by his party and the party is less interested in people finding work than they are to use this as a political issue.

Axlerod will win this round. Without the political operatives who are intensely partisan getting really engaged in the election and driving out the vote, Obama could easily lose by the largest margin in modern history. He knows that and he will do what they tell him to do whether he wants to or not.

Its all politics and has absolutely nothing to do with jobs

The stimulus was for the E C O N O M Y. Where do you get people from that? Besides whether Dem or Repub they are out for 1 thing actually 2, Power & Money say it like a mantra and learn! It all boils down to Power & Money can you say it with me? Power and Money.
Haven't you heard the United States is now for the corporations by the corporations. People like you and I just get in the way. Idealism is great but it always leads to disillusionment.

I suggest that next time when the Dems have control of the house they nuclear option nationalizing the energy and central banking sectors and tax the rich down to levels where they can never undermine our democracy again instead of worrying about creating Wall Street jobs for his Harvard friends and future Wall Street jobs for is daughters.

"Quit complaining, quit crying" You're all put on this Earth to vote for me so I can make personal inroads into the Wall Street country club crowd at the same time I turn my back on you and flip you the bird over my shoulder.

You see, it is his fault for this mess due to his first two years as president when he could had done something substantial instead of wasting the opportunity on gay rights. Guy rights doesn't put food on the table. It just pleases social leftest who are extreme right wing opportunity and money hoarders. The Manhattan crowd. Where the philosophy is to be gay, be rich and Merry when you were born Mark. Screw the poor and the middle class, we need all the opportunity and money to live like narcissistic hedonistic pigs.
