I heard about that kill with a bomb by an F-15. But I never knew all the details about the incident. Thanks for the link.

I do wonder how much practice F-22 pilots get with guns. I sure hope so. It sucks when you get into "knife" range. But when you do, you'd be glad you practiced.

As for Russian philosophy, from "Top Gun Over Moscow", I think its pretty gutsy but effective on how they encourage their pilots to push the envelope. In the US, they have all these rules and limits that you can and can not during flight. Like US pilots are restricted to certain maneuvers. The Russians say do it repeatedly and think of new ways to kill yourself.

Two different philosophies between the two nations. I wonder how China's philosophy is.
