The UK Chancellor is George Osborne.

A few weeks ago Osborne said on the riots 'that Britain must tackle its "deep-seated social problems",' www.telegraph.co.uk...

This man has great power in the UK. He has great responsibility. He has made a lot of newspapers today regarding his fondess for coc aine.

www.dailymail.co.uk... aine-Prostitute-Natalie-Rowe-repeats-drug-allegation-TV-interview.html

www.thesun.co.uk...

"And he laughed and took a big fat line of coc aine. "

AN excellent interview shown in Australia describes what was going on with Osborne. This story was broke before years ago by Newsoftheworld but twisted to make out that Osborne was an innocent in all this. Andy Coulson ran that story on Osborne. Then Osborne was pushing Prime Minister Cameron to hire Andy Coulson. WTF??!!!!
William Hague was even writing for the NewsoftheWorld getting 200k a year . Hague is now foreign secretary.

Haven't seen this on UK tv news yet? Are they just going to ignore this or will anyone show this interview.

The people of the UK have a serious problem with their governemnt. How are any of these guys still in a job?

www.youtube.com...#!

This is the kind of story you would expect to bring down the UK government. It will be interesting to see with the power of the media help prevent this from happening.

Poor people take drugs and are labelled "ferral youth", Tory Mp's take drugs and it's "letting off steam". Just the usual class hypocrisy we get in the UK. Good to see News International protecting their buddies again, while slandering the innocent.

Just found skynews covering this during their review of the papers section.

SKYNEWS thought it was so funny and that the whole story was a bloody joke. They made a point of showing the escort now. This was seen as hilarious. One of the commentators mentioning Osborne certainly wouldn't go near her now.

This is how SKY NEWS made a serious story about a senior politican in the UK into a bloody hilarious joke.

I wonder why SKY NEWS decided to take this approach??

The same guys laughing their heads off are the same ones who tomorrow will be pouring scorn and moral outrage on anything the common folk may get up to in the UK. It's all fun and games when it's the Torries though, just posh boys having some fun.

I have personnaly witnessed a tory MP snorting kettamine,(before he became an MP mind.) He used to have after club parties that would go on all weekend. He was a very kind hearted guy working with terminally ill children and raising money for them. I dont see any problem with it as long as it does not affect their work. Its the hypocrisy as in one rule for them and another for the rest of us that is wrong.

the drugs is only a tiny piece of the puzzle. the whole thing is rotten.

Osborne denied the orignal story but never sued. Then he got the prime minister to hire the bloody hack who wrote the story on him. This is insane.

Whilst I certainly believe this needs to be reported on I am genuinely amazed at people's surprise.

It's not the drug taking that offends me, far from it - who am I to pass judgement on someone else's private doings and personal habits - but rather the hypocrisy and double standards shown by yet another carear politician and the complete disdain they appear to have for the electorate of this country.

George Osbourne is the living embodiment of British upper class twatness.

You may not be offended by the drug taking.

I am offended . Not because it is illegal. But because we are constantly been told about how the drug trade is funding international gangs, terrorism, money laundering ...etc

The drugs, whether people like it not is covered in 'blood' . It wouldn't be if it was legalised but it is now.

Osbornes party are at war with the gangs in the UK after the riots. I wonder what these gangs sell?????

I remember this story about Mr O, from years ago and remember being astonished when he was given the most powerful job in the country. Then realised that the super rich could not manipulate him if they didn't have uncomfortable information on him that they could control him with. The same can probably be said for all so called 'powerful politicians'. We all remember Mr Cameron's 'cast iron guarantee' that he would give the British people a referendum on staying in the EU. Of course it didn't happen and I've heard many people have a giggle about what embarrassing information is being held over Mr C to control him and make him do as he has to do.

So will it wake the British people up? Maybe but it doesn't matter anyway. You do not get into power unless you are a bad and stupid person who does bad and stupid things and so can be controlled by the faceless puppet masters.

Get over it! It won't change any time too soon!

Sky News should be ashamed as surely what I just saw was racism, discrimination, humiliation and a complete lack of respect.

They should make an apology as its a disgrace.

They should make voting compulsory. Only pensioners vote in the u.k. Most poor people won't register to vote because most would be tracked down by debt companies or other agencies. Sad really but its just how tptb like it. The pensioners have done better than anyone over the last 20years.

I switched it over to sky last night and caught their gigglefit. It was rather unprofessional at best. At worse, well the above has been covered by posts above this one. I totally agree with others about the blatent hypocrasy shown here by sky. But then the whole media machine is geared up to sway public opinion in favour of whatever the goverment want people to think. So this shouldn't come as any kind of supprise.

And will it wake anyone in the UK up? Will it buggery. The people in the UK are generally fast asleep, and happy in their dream like state. (present company excluded
) Nothing will change, becasue they haven't had to dig into their pockets, or swicth the telly off for 5 seconds to stop watching Britains got reatards, or Big Blather. Unfortunatly, we're a nation of idiots. But I don't think it's mutually exclusive to the UK.

And as for the Osborne story, this will just be forgotten about it a week or so, nothing will come of it, and normal "service" will be resumed very shortly. Call me a pessamist, but there it is.

i dont think so. i think Osborne is finished now. after all the preaching to the lower ferral classes after the london rioting. he has to go.

they will be lucky if it is only him who is gone after this.

and once again the whole realationship with NOTW is been dragged up again. I think that newspaper is going to bring down the UK government within the next 12months.

yep. i couldn't believe i was seeing this. one of them basically said the escort couldn't be taking coc aine now because he was impying she was too fat. if sky get away with this behaviour it shows how much the media are in control. Once again manipulation of the public by turning the whole story into a joke.

I understand that - my point was that whilst the act of drug taking in itself does not offend me, I recognise and appreciate that it's probably a minority viewpoint, but the hypocrisy and double standards of almost everyone concerned with the story is typical of the complete disregard politicians and their cronies have for those they are supposed to serve and represent.

That they moralise and dictate policy and law and are then able to ignore those self same morals and laws with apparent impunity and disdain is typical of the amoral, corrupt, self-serving, self advancing system that governs us.

We need radical reform of our electoral and parliamentary processes now!
