It's a planet,I think Jupiter,but I'm not sure.

The Planet X, Nibiru Psyops Keeps Going, & Going, & Going, & Going.....educate-yourself.org...

Nibiru was seen by the Sumerian astronomers 3850 BC. It was huge in the sky with a comet tail covering more than half the night sky. Anu and his wife, rulers of Nibiru made a state visit to Earth to view the spectacle. They later went
to Mars to view Nibiru from that planet. At closest approach Nibiru is in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter, its orbit never crossed
Earth's orbit.

With 3600 year orbit it should have returned about 150 BC. There is no astronomical record of its return.

If it were somehow missed by the sky watchers of Alexandria, Babylon, Rome, Persia, India and China by showing up on the opposite side of the
sun and it were to return in another 3600 years then it should show up 3450 AD about 1439 years from now.

I was told in 1971 by the Melchizedek teachings that the people of"Maldek" had destroyed their own planet. Maldek/Marduk/Nibiru are the
same planet. I believe the destruction happen about the time of Abraham circa 2000 BC.

follow the links at the bottom of the page to go further down this rabbit hole

so while the elenin/nibiru/nemesis mishmash is psy-ops, disinfo to distract from other activities, and crying wolf so that if an asteroid or comet were on a collision course with earth, people will just say it's just more of the same doom-tarding,

doesn't mean it can't happen or hasn't happened.

alas, one must not allow the disinfo-specialists to lull you into a false sense of security

people who think the authorities are looking out for their well being, and would warn the world of an imminent catastrophic impact would do well to read the following story, from a year ago:

It would be naïve to think, however, that one merely has to point to deep-seated cracks in the structure of modern knowledge to have scholars setting to and constructing a better framework within which mankind might plan his future. There is considerable intellectual capital invested in the status quo, enough to ensure that those with an interest in preserving it, the 'enlightened' and the 'established', will continue to present the cosmos to us in a suitably non-violent form. The history of ideas reveals that some will even go further and act as a kind of thought police, whipping potential deviants into line. For them, temporal power takes precedence over the fate of the species. (Clube, The Cosmic Winter)

This problem of the "status quo" and "thought police" is not a minor issue. In this series of articles that were kicked off by Mike Baillie's book New Light on the Black Death, we have repeatedly come face to face with the obvious fact that those in positions of power and authority lie to the masses of humanity as a rule rather than an exception.
Again and again in this series, we have discussed historical cometary bombardments, the consequences for humanity being dire enough to begin with, but which were then exacerbated and capitalized upon by pathological deviants, following which the facts were covered up by lies. Worse, again and again we have seen that the masses of humanity that suffer the most from these assaults and manipulations appear to be quite willing to be deceived even to their own death and destruction (if only someone will give them something warm and fuzzy to believe in and a scapegoat to blame). At present, we are observing this phenomenon playing out on the global stage in real time and again and again we shake our heads and ask "why?!" What is it about our world, our present day culture, the human beings that occupy our planet, that gives rise to this bizarre condition that lies are preferred over truth, death over life?

there is absolutely no instrumentation in space that can postively discount that this 'visitor-to-the-solar-system' has no magnetic field...

only past experience with known physics can exclude that this distant object has no intense gravity field

No... although you are probably 100% correct in dismissing gravity waves and intense magnetic fluxes from the object... we only assume those factors and assume the object is only a pile of rubble & ice type of comet... and is definitely not a dwarf object with intense magnetism and/or gravity

nothing has been clear up in this thread

You made my day. You have collected some of the goofiest hoaxes I had the chance to read in a while.

The Rabbit hole is such a wonderful collection of lies and hoaxes. It can get boring quickly.

The tablet article about a mile wide asteroid hitting Sodom. That's hilarious. No one even knows where Sodom was. No one knows anything about it. Then this wonderful states.

The impact, equivalent to more than 1,000tons of TNT exploding, would have created one of the world's biggest-ever landslides.

Anyone think there might be a crater? No, just a landslide. That's so funny!

OK. Here is another article not written by some hoaxer.
www.physorg.com...

The giant landslide centred at Köfels in Austria is 500m thick and five kilometres in diameter and has long been a mystery since geologists first looked at it in the 19th century. The conclusion drawn by research in the middle 20th century was that it must be due to a very large meteor impact because of the evidence of crushing pressures and explosions. But this view lost favour as a much better understanding of impact sites developed in the late 20th century.

This has nothing to do with Sodom or anything biblical. It is about a complex geological area that showed evidence for an impact, but no crater.

To connect this to Sodom is just another weak attempt to support the bible that is not supported by the archaeological record.

The area has been well studied by others. A list of articles is given at this site
www.sciforums.com...

These above studies clearly demonstrate that the estimated kinetic energy of the rock mass displaced by the landslide would have generated the heat necessary to melt the rock and form the “pumice”, which they called “frictionite” (also known as pseudotachylyte / hyalomylonite). There was no meteorite / comet / asteroid impact involved in its formation. In fact, frictionite has also been found in megalandslides of Peru and Nepal ...

They found none of the evidence used to argue for the Köfels landslide being of impact origin to be credible. For example, they found the alleged "shock quartz" discussed in earlier published abstracts was neither "shock quartz" nor formed by an impact. Rather, it was a pseudoshocked quartz created during the landslide. How this pseudoshocked quartz was created is discussed by:

Research of by Ivy-Ochs et al. (1998) substantiates the validity of the radiocarbon dates and refutes the claims that they are somehow contaminated.

There are two other key facts at Kofels that cannot be reconciled with the new hypothesis:
1. On top of the landslide deposit are intact fluvial deposits. These have been scooped out of the valley as the landslides moved. Surely tey could not have survived the hypothesised explosive event intact?
2. The landslide deposit includes blocks that have been displaced >1 km. They are entirely fractured but the consitutent pieces are still in the correct position. This is entirely consistent with other massive landslide deposits, but they are not consistent with a fireball, surely?

In case of either stony or iron asteroid, which is 1 km in diameter, its impact in Köfels, Austria has no significant effect in central Israel, 1,800 miles away. According to the basic laws of physics, it is impossible for an impact of a 1 km in diameter asteroid in Köfels, Austria to significantly effect anywhere in central Israel.

We know it does not have a high mass because it was watched as it passed by the asteroids and it did not have a measurable effect on them.

You cling to known science as if it is a mother suckling you to it's breast. You also exhibit the same nature when referring to things you couldn't even dream of knowing. Your tiny existence within your little bubble of "accepted science" is at the very best sad and at the absolute worst, irresponsible as a human who can perceive consciousnesses.

Keep looking through the little glass and basing your life off of things other people have trained you to believe. Everything you know, you know because somebody else has told you. You have never had a free thought, never allowed yourself the luxury or the freedom to let your mind work the way it was intended.

I am new to a lot of this. When I first heard about all the excitement about elenin I wasn't sure what to think. The more I researched the more I realized it was insanity at its best. However I did find 2005 YU55 that i found to be interesting. In Nov 2011 it will be approximately 170,000 miles from earth and about 280 meters in diameter. I not sure if it is anything to worry about. If I was to worry about something coming close to the earth it would be this not something as crazy as elenin.

the way you phrase your post seems to imply that you have discredited everything i've posted and not just a single link, you are mistaken, contrailer, there are no contrails for you to sniff here.

as for "debunking" the fallout onto Sodom [aye, and Gomorrah], take it up with predator0187's thread on the subject: www.abovetopsecret.com...

oh and referring to me as a bible-thumper and god botherer just makes you look dumb as it implies that you do no research and just regurgitate stuff up, oh but helious already instructed you on that.

When I made the following comment it was in reference to the article and not to you or any other poster here at ATS.

To connect this to Sodom is just another weak attempt to support the bible that is not supported by the archaeological record.

As is rather obvious from all of the material I posted and made reference to there are severe problems with the claims of the impact in Austria and an impact of that size in central Europe having an effect on the Middle East.

So the popular theory right now is that everytime this comet/dwarf aligns with the sun and earth there is some major event on earth. Am I right?

I have 2 questions then.

1. Why doesn't it have same impact on other planets when it lines up? And if it does please provide some proof.

2. I understand that a dwarf would have alot of mass, but its so far away. Assuming it is a dwarf the planets nearby would still have had a stronger gravitational effect during the previous quakes because of how close they are. Why is it then when we line up with other planets that are much much closer we see no impact at all?

I am no scientist so I could be completely wrong, but the theory seems to contradict itself.

The hypothesis does contradict itself. Basically it's just an attempt to find a relationship between random and coincidental events.

*If* there was any proof to the alignment hypothesis, our closest neighbor (the moon) would have more of an effect on us when it aligns with the Earth (which is everyday) and especially when the moon, sun and Earth align. There is no such proof.

To those who think the moon is too small to exert an influence on the Earth, please explain the tides.

That being said, an object that is large enough to exert an influence over the crust of the Earth would not only exert the influence during alignments, it would be a logarithmic influence that would increase exponentially as the object approached the Earth and the influence would decrease logarithmically as the object moved further away from the Earth.

There are some rare/less common low intensity quakes that appear to be correlated with the Moon. Big quakes? No. Many quakes? No.

earthquake.usgs.gov...

Several recent studies, however, have found a correlation between earth tides (caused by the position of the moon relative to the earth) and some types of earthquakes. One study, for example, concludes that during times of higher earth and ocean tides, such as during times of full or new moon, earthquakes are more likely on shallow thrust faults near the edges of continents and in (underwater) subduction zones.

Remember that this is rather recent and more importantly the large quakes - the ones that are so destructive - are not correlated to the Moon or any other object including the Sun.

Basically you were correct. These correlated quakes are not the ones people are claiming are related to Elenin.

I completely understand your disbelief with this comet having any effect on our planet. I for one have never seen it through a telescope and personally photographed it so I can not say whether it is a threat or not. Can you please post a picture and then all of the corrisponding data showing that you have done the research proving that it will not strike planet earth either now or when it orbits (what it is that it does orbit 6000 years away) that proves that it is not a threat? My grandkids x 2245 would like to know if it will hit them in 8011 ad. Maybe when DJW and Phangs' moms let them have their 4 hours of computor time per day they can help you out with the actual science of this thing.
Thanks in advance,
Spocky
