Yes, let's make a nomination race that is supposed to be equal and fair but isn't, even less equal and fair.

They should get equal airtime... to skew airtime to polls would be a disservice to the people IMO...

I can see both points of view...I just don't see either as being bad.

Either give them all equal (which not ALL candidates were even invited)...or give the people what they want based on who is the front runner.

Both are valid to me.

ETA: AND I'M STILL ON THE PHONE....

Rick Perry reminds me of a slightly more intelligent George Bush.

When I see them side-by-side, I imagine a puppeteer controlling Perry with one arm and Romney with the other.

Perry changed from his
*Its a ponzi scheme*
To lets figure a way to fix it.

Good thing he got in line.

Old people are VERY touchy about SS.

OLD PEOPLE get out and vote also.

My idea of these debates:

Globalist, Globalist, Globalist, Ron Paul, Globalist, Herman Cain, Globalist.

Nothing worse than hearing these fraudsters talking about bringing the troops home and investigating the federal reserve. Newt Gingrich talking about ending the fed, did you ever expect the day?

Already got a laugh.

When Perry was talking about SS, Romney and Bachmann were both in the picture, and Romney was staring him down while Bachmann was staring off into space. I have to take a screenshot of that when it gets out on youtube.

ETA - Looks like Romney and Perry are already going at it.

ETA 2 - Perry -> "We need to go back to the consitution"...Where have I heard that before?

Is it just me, or are both Perry and Romney repeating what Ron Paul has always said about returning power to the states, and social security being a ponzi scheme?

It's turning in to the Romney and Rick show from the start. What the heck.
They let them talk for minutes and only give Ron a few seconds and cut him off.

Yep, now Perry's talking about returning to the Constitution, last week he was talking about Keynsian economics, I wouldn't be suprised if tonight he tries to tell the audience that he used to be a physician.

Also, Is this a one-on-one conversation between Romney and Perry or what?

Yep. "Hold that thought, let's hear what Cain has to say" In the MIDDLE of his sentence.

So like I said...I'm delayed.

But as someone else pointed out in another thread.

If you go by applause while they were introduced....the crowd favors Cain and Bachman...everyone else was kind of "meh".

Huntsman calling out Perry and Romney for bickering back and forth about calling SS a "fraud" and a "ponzi scheme" without putting out their solutions.
