I honestly don't see this site as getting news before major media does....maybe the ones tracking earth quakes and stuff..

I find it funny..that so many say they come here for breaking news..

I read stuff on here ..that is the same crap as what is on the news.

The one difference is we get access to other news sights from around the world..through members in that country.

Most of the news here..is basically second hand recycled stuff..that's already out there.

If by "top theorists," you mean "people with high status that get replies regardless of what they say," sure.

Considering that ATS is the Internet's top conspiracy site, it would be ignorant of them not to know of ATS's existence, although they are probably too busy in the real world making real change to spend 16+ hours on an Internet forum a day.
