I'm pretty sure some folks will react negatively to this but...here it is. I found this and I wanted to share it.

The New Declaration of Independence
When in the passage of the history of Humankind it becomes necessary for one people to break the political bonds which have connected them with another and to assume among the nations of the world, the separate and equal position to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

We, the People, hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all humans are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain sacred Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right and Duty of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Experience will show that long standing governments should not be deposed for frivolous causes; and accordingly all history has proven that mankind is more likely to suffer evils that are tolerable than to right themselves by abolishing the broken traditions to which they are accustomed.

But when a long series of abuses and usurpations, seeking power and total control evidences a design to place them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security. — Such has been the patient sufferance of these Fifty States and many colonies; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former Systems of Government. The history of the present controlling parties, lobbyists, and Federal Government is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having a direct goal of the establishment of an absolute Tyranny over these States. To prove this, let Facts be submitted to a candid world.

They routinely fashion petty laws to draw more taxes on the people, who struggle to make ends meet.

The Federal Government continuously restricts free enterprise and trade through regulations that were designed so only few would benefit from the effort of the People.

The Judiciary system has been broken, now concerned with not guilt or innocence, but rather to allow the advancement of lawyers to legislature.

The Judiciary system has been broken, so that the People no longer receive Justice, but the lawyer receives a hefty paycheck.

The Law of the Land and Enforcment of Law has become a farce, no longer designed for the public good and safety of the People, but for the purpose of increasing tax revenue and advancing the agenda of the Prison Industry.

The Electoral System has been broken, only allowing two main parties, who are beholden to special interest, to dictate the path of the country. The Electoral System has since been used to weed out and suppress points of view considered threatening to the Federal Government’s plans and purpose.

The Federal Government lists free-thinkers and Soverign Citizens of the United States as “dissenters” and “terrorists”, and condemns those who choose to go against the established System.

The Federal Government has perverted true legislation by using underhanded tactics in discussion of Bills and Acts, by being beholden to lobbyists and corporations, and by exercising emergency powers and Orders unfaithfully.

The Federal Government has made Judges dependent on its Will alone for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries.

The Federal Government has established countless bureaus and offices, and has sent forth legions of Officers to harass the People, appropriate their wealth and restrict their Freedom.

The Federal Government has ushered in the Era of War, as our armies are always fighting somewhere. The lack of peacetime for our United States has tarnished our reputation with the other nations of the world, and ruined our economy.

The Federal Government has affected to render the Law Enforcement and the Military independent of and superior to the Civil Power.

The Federal Government has combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our Constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; allowing extra-national bodies to place upon the People Acts of pretended Legislation.

We charge the Federal Government for protecting themselves and Law Enforcement, by a mock Trial from punishment for any Murders which they should commit of the Inhabitants of these United States:

For cutting off our Trade and travel with parts of the world:

For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent:

For depriving us in many cases, of the benefit of Trial by Jury:

For forcing us to purchase insurances or buy into programs without our desire to be included in them:

For suspending our own Legislatures, and declaring themselves invested with power to legislate for us in all cases whatsoever.

They have abdicated Government here, by declaring us out of their Protection and waging War against us, one Person or Group at a time.

They have wasted billions of our tax dollars in getting through the legislative red tape before they can assist in disasters.

They have hidden much necessary information from the People, and have engaged in False Flag operations to sway the People into action under false pretenses.

They have opened our borders to foreigners who mean to do us harm by offering amnesty and providing aid in the form of numerous social programs, paid for by the tax dollars of the People

They have contributed to the stagnation and laziness of the People by encouraging a Welfare State and preventing serious education of the Young.

They have excited domestic and foreign insurrections amongst us, and has endeavoured to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, attempting to turn the People against each other with divisionary ideas to distract them from the true political actions of the government.

In every stage of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A Government, whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Totalitarian Police Welfare State, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.

We, therefore, the Representatives of the United States of America, in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by Authority of the good People of these Colonies, solemnly publish and declare, That these People of United States are, and of Right ought to be Free and Sovereign Independent People, that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to the Federal Government, and that all political connection between them and the Federal Government, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as Free and Independent People, who have established themselves as a new , they have full Power to levy War, conclude Peace, contract Alliances, establish Commerce, and to do anything and everything they choose to do, as long as it does not impede the Rights of their bretheren — And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor.

At risk of this sounding off topic, would you mind separating-the paragraphs to make it easier to read? Not bashing you or anything, I am interested in reading this which is why I ask, but the wall of text brings pain into my eyes.

Edit: Thanks, and well said. Something I noticed in your post, is that you referred to them as the "Federal Government" and not the "United states government". I mention this because I haven't heard the phrase "The united states government" in a looong time. Just thought it was something interesting.

Well said. S&F. Did you right this yourself? Or is there a link to the original source.

So, you have a declaration. Will you(or anyone else) act upon it? My next act(as stated several times) is to stop contributing to the tax base. In 19 days I will reclaim my freedom and adopt the Cloward Piven strategy. I will become a net drag upon the system. I will stop working and collect every single one of the socialist state benefits I can in order to hasten the breakdown of the system. I have recruited several people to join me. I hope others will do so.

Edited for your eyes. Also, what bothers me in this is that much of the original language of the Declaration of Independence is unchanged, and many of the grievances that our forefathers had apply again today.

That really won't work, even if it is possible to collapse the system through welfare people will just make another system to replace the old one.... On top of that, the govt collapsing with millions of people hooked to welfare and other things would just be horrible.

There will be plenty of pain to go around when the system does fall. Do you propose we do nothing and let our children deal with the fall out since we were unwilling?

Or did you expect O and his masters to read your declaration and surrender?

You don't have to listen to me, try your plan if you want, but I'm telling you it won't work and you will most likely regret it later on.

I'm not really sure. There's no real movement for this as far as I know yet, though I agree with it, and many others as well.


As for the idea of the system collapsing: with the current state of affairs, a good portion of this country would end up turning on each other because we have been educated to hate each other, with a facade of "togetherness". Without a dedicated group to maintain order, we'd eat each other alive...

do we have a new constitution and plan of action for the new government? seems like we would end up in the same place if we didnt rethink our goverment's overall structure... I would like to hear your thoughts on this.

I'm not sure. I'm fairly certain our current Constitution could be redone and updated, keeping most of what's in it, and adding some other necessary things...As for government structure, it is also fairly good, however we'd need to get rid of the electoral college and run elections totally via popular vote, We have enough infrastructure to support this method now.
I would suggest instead of just having legislators and a congress, everyone has a say in what gets passed via an internet voting system. Make it a extremely secure connection, and every citizen may choose to either vote on bills, measures and acts, or if they don't have time or don't care, THEN they can vote for a legislator to represent them. In this way, we would avoid the two party system, and instead have a network of independent "representors", which would more accurately show the choices of the People, as opposed to the State.

As for Social Security, Gone. If you want to have enough to live nicely while you're old, make wiser decisions while you're young. Welfare contributes to stagnation and spending what one should be saving.

As for medical care...I've got this idea of making medical care similar to police and fire. It could be a basic, expected service paid for via tax dollars, however in my personal idea book, I've got the brewings of a society that doesn't need money...

I agree that a complete overturn of the US government will be too much to ever hope for, and a major restructure is almost just as lofty an idea. I think what would make everyone happy would be to give each individual state the majority of power to govern in a manor that reflects its particular civil climate. So lets just take Texas for example.

In Texas, the majority is conservative republican. By giving them all the power deal with issues that do not require multi-state or union cooperation or consent, they are free to deal with issues like Medicaid, Welfare, Unemployment, and Disability in a manner that reflects the conservative philosophy. They would have to implement a state income tax that would have a portion that goes to fund union expenses like defense and federal services like post and interstate highways. But the majority of tax dollars would stay within the state and the state tax rate would reflect the economic philosophy of the conservative citizens who live there. If that state did not meet your expectations you would be free to relocate to another area that better suited you.

This would cut out a huge chunk of the bureaucracy in social programs. By giving the state the power to legislate and run these programs with local money for local citizens it cuts the distance between the taxpayer and the beneficiary. Economically it would make them completely self sufficient and would narrow the scope when trying to address problem areas.

This would also restrict the “police the world” ideology because in order to get funding for any war, the feds would have to get money from the states who have the option to deny aid or involvement. So if a state says they want give financial aid to a peace keeping mission overseas, they are free to do so. But the budget of said mission would be restricted to the pledges of the consenting states. The only open budget spending on military would be for defensive missions that have been deemed necessary by the majority of state representatives.

As far judicial goes, I think that legislation by the federal government should only pertain to foreign policy and human rights. The supreme court would only be necessary to ensure that human rights have not been violated or diminished by the state government and would not have the power to redefine the bill of rights as interpreted by the state. Also they would be the ones to sentence criminals who have committed crimes in multiple states upon conviction in each state.

To sum this up, the federal government would essentially be like the UN. Not having any real power except to enforce the constitutional bill of rights and to make defensive military decisions. Each state would essentially be its own country but have open borders with other union states. That’s the rough concept at least.
