People who think that the West's intervention in Libya is just another oil grab are mistaken. Broadly speaking, for Britain military intervention is mainly about arms, Italy its natural gas, France its water and for the US its counter-terrorism and reconstruction contracts. Spreading democracy and saving the people of Benghazi form merely tangential benefits used to justify these ends.

Lest we forget, Nato's bombardment began because Mr Gaddafi threatened to do to Benghazi what Mr Bashar al-Assad’s forces are doing to various Syrian cities and Nato itself is poised to do in Sirte.

''History is a set of lies agreed upon'' once remarked Napoleon Bonaparte. If left unchallenged the true motives behind what the French mainstream media have coined ''Sarkozy's War'' may be lost in the fog of war.

So what makes Libya so important to the West? Any real estate agent could tell you: location. Given that Libya sits atop the strategic intersection of the Mediterranean, African, and Arab worlds, control of the nation, has always been a remarkably effective way to project power into these three regions and beyond.

Ever since time immemorial Western control over Libya has been of great importance. After Libyan independence in 1951, US, British and French payments for military basing rights formed the single-largest element of Libyan GDP until oil exports began to flow in 1961.

Seriously, this article of a Tanzanian newspaper is far more incriminating in its account than the corporate-owned mainstream media of the Western globalist elite waging a war of conquest, using the Libyan Al-Qaeda / LIFG rebels as the advance guard in securing control and pillaging Libyan natural resources, such as the light sweet crude oil and fossilized fresh water in the aquifers, for their own financial benefit, and also to create a new terrorist hotbed in North Africa in which it will be used to destabilize its southern neighbors.

Of course, it will be always the globalist elite who benefit from this war of aggression on Libya. The 'strongman', Muammar al-Gaddafi was patriotic in a sense that he cared for a sizable majority of his fellow Libyans well and his socialist command economy created the highest living standards for an African nation. Although some basic freedoms were curtailed by Gaddafi, positive outcomes offset this, such as women being empowered like in Western societies.

All of Gaddafi's creations that have made Libya once the gleaming crown jewel of post-colonial Africa will be erased in no time by the neocolonialist hardcore Islamic puppets of the Western global power elite, who would salivate to reduce Libya to a shell of its former self and into another hapless vassal state.

In the end, Libyans would be dying and suffering from the globalist-waged war of conquest on what was once their sovereign nation.

What do you think?

Not to mention aiding the same Al-Qaeda whose Libyan foot soldiers fought against U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.

It just goes to show that not only the War on Terror is a joke, it should be portrayed as the War of Terror.

War of Terror to benefit the globalist power elite and to bring suffering to fellow humankind who simply stands in their way!
