Thought you might like to hear this song! I love it. I never listen to words, just the sounds of the instruments. It was my sister who pointed out the lyrics to me Here . She even pointed out the relevance of it to me and i,m meant to be the guy in the know in this house.

I would just like to see what you fellow ATS'rs think in relation to the lyrics to this song and where we are now in 2011.

The first verse is very interesting, "Yes we're gonna have a wingding
A summer smoker underground
It's just a dugout that my dad built
In case the reds decide to push the button down
We've got provisions and lots of beer
The key word is survival on the new frontier"

Reminds me of underground bases!

"Introduce me to that big blonde
She's got a touch of Tuesday Weld
She's wearing Ambush and a French twist
She's got us wild and she can tell
She loves to limbo, that much is clear
She's got the right dynamics for the new frontier"

Hilary Clinton maybe??? etc etc. Follow the link and see what you think!

The whole song must have been written pre 1981 i think from my research so far.

My reason to post this, is i think this song is way ahead of its time.

Looking forward to positive thoughts and contributions. Everyone one else please pass by.

Thanks in advance,

Albert.

Mods i think this might be in the wrong forum, please move it as per. Kind regards!

Sorry mods, should be in NWO forum, please put it there thanks.

Albert.

personally i think metallicas "die die my darling" is more fitting for the nwo

and everything else gone wrong in this country and the world.

Thanks for your reply Neo96!

Not quite sure what your relevance is though. Is this music and lyrics written from years ago and what does it point to as far as political agendas are in 2011.

My point in my OP was the lyrics to the Steely dan song had relevance to current agenda's going on in the world as we speak! Even though it was written many years ago???????

when it comes to musicans and politics relevance? yeah

the same arguements made then are pretty much the same ones that we have today

the more things change the more they stay the same.

steely dan or even boston nwo vs anti corporatism ie boston in their music.

nothing changes except the date.

I used to scrub floors at a local store in the morning before it opened I would always hear this song. Made for a very relaxed day. I often thought it was steely dan and it might as well be considering it was recorded by one of the co-founders. I don't know how much relevance it has to the NWO but thanks for putting another song in my head

Here is a song about GATT, since it has relevance to the World Trade Organization, I thought I would post it. I guess I look at it this way, people don't really like world trade when it effects our own countries. For instance, if it is cheaper to have a company oversees and trade to us for cheap then that is bad for us. But if you make the World Trade Organization into the biggest victim in the world then people will fight for it, and you can use the idea of trade to weaken the idea of borders. Then you get bands to sing a song about it, get the kids that think they are "anarchist" but are really just violent to cause some havoc change the governments around the world, let them do it at home and boom you can call them the newest terrorists and use them to take control. Or it could just a punk rock song about trade...

I,m not up on this stuff, like i said, I dont listen to words, i find it impossible. Maybe it's a medical condition, ha, but i cant listen to instruments and words at the same time.

I do think a lot of older lyrics are written from 'artists', maybe when they write they get some insight. Maybe thats why we get the like's of these lyrics coming true now.

Just a thought my friend.

i am no "metal" fan but the vide & lyrics really got me

I see the Red Sea part in front of me
I see the desert clouds bleed above me
I'm with the prophets on the final destiny
We'll fight the heathens and the ghost enemy

This is the prophecy (2x)

I see the money beggars on the last temptation
We're marching now through the devastation
I'm with the prophets on a mission of salvation
Cities falling, nations falling nations

This is the prophecy (2x)

I see the new millennium tribal warfare
I see them blind sheep going nowhere
The new exodus, just like they said
I see the crown of thorns, you know I was there

This is the prophecy (2x)

I see the times in this armaggideon
I see the flag of the conquering lion
I must reach the mountains of Zion
I'm with the prophets and the prophecy goes on

This is the prophecy (2x)
New millennium tribal war (4x)

same with that one:

every word is just crazy, no need to post the lyrics...

btw watch THELIGHT @ yt...

Still, i think all these need to be looked at. I wonder what the writers of these songs think, and thats the next direction we should head. I,m gonna do some digging.

New World Order - Megadeth
Where hath the apostles gone?
Joining hands with wicked ones
Revelation has come to pass
New world order, will hold the mass
A book written by the man
Used to control and command
All rights will be denied
Without the mark you shall die
No confession, all is known (All is known)
New world order, you shall be shown (Shall be shown)
Monitoring all wages
New world order comes in stages
Currency is obsolete
Feel the agony of defeat
Symbol of society today
A must have or you shall pay
As humans flesh leads the mind
Just as a pawn the last martyr dies
No confession, all is known (All is known)
New world order, you shall be shown (Shall be shown)
Where hath the apostles gone?
Joining hands with wicked ones
Revelation has come to pass
New world order, will hold the mass.

Haven't heard a steely dan song for ages, and I used to have lots on vinyl. This really depends on your age, but being born in the 60s and growing up in the 70s I can still remember the fear that everybody felt during the cold war - we really felt that at some time there would be a nuclear war followed by a nuclear winter. Although I can't remember my parents doing a thing to prepare, but that was just them - times were hard and just getting by week to week was a full time job.
And of course there was no social networking or chat forums, and they'd really only got over WW2 less than a couple of decades earlier - so stiff upper lip and all that, keep calm and carry on!

I'm sure donald fagan and steely dan could only be 10 years older than me at the most so possibly felt it more acutely.

Just shows that time is cyclical, history is soon forgotten.

I know most of the groups people are posting are metal or classic rock but this rap song from the Goodie Mob called Cell Therapy is self explanatorily and touches on alot of real good subjects, listen to the final M.C named Big Gipp he talks about people getting micro chipped and this song was released in 1995 the dude was ahead of his time.....

Just for the record, Die, Die My Darling was originally done by the Misfits. The Metallica version is a cover.

Pain-The third wave

They tried to build a nation, greater than anyone
But what they didn't know was that someone else would have control
The mob starts infiltrating, at gunpoint they will roam
They show no mercy and the government is on their payroll

No compromising, a nation going blind
The leaders are on their knees
The third wave has just begun

The whole world is corrupted, it's spinning out of control
The third wave is on the roll
It's slipping through our fingers and rising to the top
The third wave is on the roll

Roll with me, roll with me

250 million, involved in organized crime
It's growing like a tumour, we need to find the cure in time
It's coming from the east and trying to control the west
It's crawling across the border right up to the leader's nest

Like a spider's web, politicians in their net
Strings are growing strong
The third wave has just begun

The whole world is corrupted, it's spinning out of control
The third wave is on the roll
Its slipping through our ringers and rising to the top
The third wave is on the roll

Roll with me
Roll with me
Roll with me

It's on the roll, it's on the roll, it's on the roll

The whole world is corrupted, it's spinning out of control
The third wave is on the roll
It's slipping through our fingers and rising to the top
The third wave is on the roll
The whole world is corrupted, it's on the roll
The whole world is corrupted, it's on the roll
The whole world is corrupted, it's on the roll

Reminds me of a thread I was just looking at "the media is the military". Use of mind control and propaganda and over embellishing things, and human rights atrocities... but who cares about that.
