On a more serious note the amount of money that people have spent on 2012 bunkers is likely astounding, I'd love to see some statistics on just how much this pseudoscientific con-job has tricked out of people, and then there's those who are contemplating suicide... Harold Camping's would-be rapture prediction's got nothing on the people peddling 2012.

Like others have said, if the world ends in a massive catastrophe, chances are anyone in an underground bunker will perish. I would think that the underground facilities would take as much if not more damage than the above ground facilities. Also if the world ended in such a way as shown in the movie 2012 you would have to be in the right place at the right time to survive. It wouldn't matter if you had a bunker if you got killed while at the grocery store. True better safe than sorry, but most likely a waste of time because everything will be destroyed.

Probably the best thing would to get a backpack setup so you can keep the necessary tools close by in case you get stranded. Plus it's better to have the survival tools than a huge stock pile, which will most likely get raided anyway...

I wonder if Charlie Sheen bought a front row seat yet?

Hey people will be horny in after the 2012 Apocalypse too. Let's just hope that there is some way of broadcasting it onto the internet, making it freely accessible to other survivors. Because if they have no way of letting us know where it's it, people will just have to take their chances and scour the land in search for the mysterious porn-bunker, like the Family Guy episode when they go looking for the twinkie factory.

I've never really seen any blueprints of these underground bunkers,but a building is only as good as it's foundation,so who determined where was a safe substrate to build on? if there was a catostrophic event I'd think you would be safer building a sink proof ship and stay far away from coasts,ride out the rough waves,if California was to slip into the sea,the Tsunami would be about 10,000 feet high and flood all the way to Canada,think about it,displacement factor

Well, thats one bunker you would kind of want to be in, unlike the bankers/politicians/zionist elite bunkers where you'd just want to chop heads off. Then again once they run out of condoms and pills, and the pull out method fails enough, those chicks are going to be all up the duff, I guess that wont stop them.

But seriously as previous comments have addressed, they have to save something ready to subdue their NWO slaves when the elite decide to climb out of thier boxes, it's not as though the politicians/bankers are going to be able to do that themselves, I'd say most of them would struggle to get it up, let alone not crack your screen due to sheer ugliness.

All kidding aside the last place you want to be is in a bunker where they think they can survive and party. I don't think these are the types of folks you can depend on in hard times. Who is going to maintain the facilities? I see they have a hydroponics section good for them who is going to maintain that? A bunch of porn stars and their fans? Where are they going to get the nutrients and minerals for proper plant growth when their supply runs out? Have any of them even grown a conventional garden much less hydroponics?

I don't see any source of animal husbandry So where is the protein going to come from when supplies run out? Or are the planning on being vegans? What about a water source I assume they will have wells but that involves pumps and maintenance and spare parts and people able to work on them if needed etc. They will need spare parts and people able to maintain all thier systems.

I see no place for either fabricating or manufacturing of any type. So do they think they will just be able to emerge and continue on business as usual post apocalyptic?

Perhaps they have thought of all this but in a crisis there's always things that are overlooked you don't discover until you are in the middle of it and that is when it takes integrity and focus and trust in your team mates etc. Somehow these folks don't inspire me as being folks one could count on. Maybe some of them would be but you would have a contingency that would panic in a crisis situation and that can be the death of you often times. At the least they would be a huge problem and take away your focus in what needs to get done right away.

I could see this devolving rather quickly into infighting and ending up a tomb rather then a survival bunker.

If the apocalypse entails riding it out in a bunker full of porn stars then let the skies rain fire and brimstone and let it all burn!!!

Out of curiosity, I would wonder if there is any connection between the 2012 doomsday informants and the products (survival kits, bunkers etc) being sold to perpetuate withstanding this coming 'apocalypse'.

There just seems to be too much fear regarding this date, and if there is anything history has told us, the elite are experts at creating said fear.
