these people have been "around" for a long long time,
and have certain "knowledge" that nobody else has.
that knowledge should be respected,
espesially because they shared it with us.

This is so freakey I just finished watching Koyaanisqatsi on DVD, and at the end they show some hopi prophecies sang through the movie. Then I come on and see this thread 15 seconds after i got up

Crystal links has some very good Native American prophecies, always detailed and so far accurate.

I stumbled across that sight years ago, and have always found the majority of the material great in comparison to almost everything else.

Very wise. I've been reading their prophecies and sayings for some time. Somewhere it was given why the men's hair was worn long and beautiful, and the answer was given, to be attractive to the women, beautiful for the women.
Since I always loved long hair on men it made me happy that they had acknowledged that so readily. From the OP's link:
