MSN/Hotmail down?

Is anyone else having issues getting to MSN.com or Hotmail.com? When I type in msn, I get
file:///Applications/Safari.app/Contents/Resources/
and for hotmail I get
localhost...

Just wondering if it's only me?

It's down.Don't know why,but it is.

Hotmail came up for me, but not MSN. Give it a while, MSN will be back up and running.

Ok, thanks - glad I'm not crazy. It's just always been the one site that seems to work when none others do. So when it went down but everything else was fine, I was wondering if it was my computer instead. Glad I'm not crazy and my computer is fine.

Just tried again... still says the servers are down... for both of them... I wonder if it's just certain area servers or something

Canada is looking a bit rough for internet servers and the rating a bit low overall.

I wonder if it could be related to that?

Power outages in Cal, Ariz and Mexico. Watch or read the news. When Cal gets back on-line, things will return.

I haven't seen anyone suggest it yet, but www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com... will help a lot. According to them MSN is down, hotmail is partially up, but some mail server's are down. Hope that helps.

I figured it had to be involved with the west coast servers, but I didn't hear of power outages on the west coast... just the east. Probably because I don't watch TV, and when I went to check the MSM news...I tried MSN.

Your welcome. I can't remember where on this site I first saw down for everyone or just me. Has been a boon.
