I just saw this on the SOHO. I've been watching the Soho for a while and I have never seen anything that looks like this.

Mmmmm, Let me see..???..

I can Make a..dartboard out of it.

I can make a...Japanese flag out of it.

I can make a... red circle with another circle in it.

Well Im just about done...any one else make anything out of it?

I'm assuming you are a talking about the V formation in the upper right hand corner? I have noooo idea

Yeah I mean the V thing there. I've seen plenty of things streak by at times, but never leaving two trails like that thing, whatever it could be.

Comet with two tails? Not totally uncommon

It looks like a piece of artwork to me.....something man-made. Now...I could be wrong....but then again...maybe not.

Kind of looks like someone marked the picture to point something out.

Here is a higher resolution of that picture.

From looking at some of the other pics from this telescope, it seems the shots are taken with the shutter open for a longer period, since stars and comets show as "lines" instead of dots.

Here is an example on what i mean. sohowww.nascom.nasa.gov...

So from this data i would assume that is just two stars/meteor/comets whatever just crossing paths, making it look like a V.

Although i must admit, those shine very brightly for some reason compared to most of the others.

Looks like two stars/comets/asteroids/whatever crossing paths.

(laughing out loud) Tra la la ...and...la de da.....your are funny! I've looked again at the photos...and it still looks like some sort of drawing to me...I just can't get past that idea...right now.
