You keep posting that link to MSNBC.
---------------
Here is a clear picture of what happened last night.
- September Debate -

Rick Perry took shots from all around and but came out on top.
However, it was NEWT who pushed NBC back on their heels!

a George Bush who wasn't even in the race.

Duh? of course he ran against McCain. Are you that dense? Obama won because people did not want another George Bush, Obama ran and won against the ghost of George Bush and Bush's presidency. McCain never had a chance. If you ask a Obama supporter why they voted for Obama it will not be because they hate McCain it will be because they hated Bush. That is what I said.

If you want to talk about dense, look in the mirror. You may have meant it that way, but that isn't what you said.

That is exactly what I said, go read my post again and see. You quoted me as saying George Bush was not in the race?!? I said it, you quoted me saying it, then you reply that I didn't say it????

I very clearly said that Obama was running against a George Bush who wasn't even in the race. He was never running against McCain, he was running against George Bushes Ghost and I have made that very clear to you twice now.

You have quoted me as saying what you say I haven't said? WTF? Really?

You are wasting my time and derailing this thread.

It looks like Newt won the battle but Rick Perry won the war.

I don't know which of these ideas is funnier!
Maybe I missed the part where Gingrich actually tells us his idea on how to fix the healthcare mess. All he did was waste his minute talking about how they weren't going to argue with each other.....it's a DEBATE!! The only response that got more applause was Perry bragging about all the inmates he had killed!! Lame crowd. I'd actually like to see some footage of the crowd OUTSIDE the building. Probably mostly Ron Paul supporters, because it didn't seem like any were allowed in the audience!

Go to realclearpolitics and rasmussen reports for an honest poll.

Can't you see that MSNBC is biased?
I mean come on. Wake up.

And what pre-tell is a unbiased honest poll? Is it sampling those individuals who have a "land-line" telephone? Is it asking people on the streets? Is it asking the same person again and again what their thoughts are? Is it asking weighted questions?

I've never been polled by realclearpolitics or rasmussen before, have you?

I think you were trying to say " pray tell ".

It means -please do tell-.
----------------
I'll take Gallup and Rasmussen over any other poll.
The AP flat out stacks their polls all the time.

I think the AP does their polls in reverse.
First they come up with a result that they want.
Then they start throwing out republican votes until the poll looks pretty good.

What polling data would you prefer we look at??
He has come in second in both Iowa and New Hampshire straw polls and would have come in first in Iowa had Bachmann not bought all those tickets and all the gimmicks to get people to her tent (not to mention she barely won with all that stuff).

I think this time Paul has a real chance.

Well, you can go right on believing that if you want to.
Eventually, reality will sink in.

We do need change from the Socialist Obama but i think
Ron Paul is too radical and too naive about Iran.
Now is a bad time to become an isolationist.

No, Newt just throws the question out when it is designed to get republicans fighting
and make Obama look above it all and almost Godlike.

-----------
Newt blasted NBC with both barrels last night and it was the highlight of the debate.
Someone even put it on YouTube!

And you think any of these other goons are going to do anything about it but funnel money and assets into these countries behind everyones back to maintain a secret relationship? Did you not look at the recent wikileaks cables to see what actually happens and goes on? I would rather vote for Bachmann than Perry, and I would NEVER vote for Bachmann. Perry is just another Bush, but lacks about 90% of Bush's intelligence, which was already quite low on the scale.

You have to be kidding me.

I think Rick Perry weathered the political storm rather well.
---------
It's not over though. We need to see what Gov. Sarah Palin does.
I think a Palin / Marco Rubio duo could go all the way to the White House.

it sampling those individuals who have a "land-line" telephone?

Yes, an "honest" poll, is a poll of people that still have a landline, and are unemployed and/or retired, and are willing to answer the phone in the middle of the day, or the middle of dinner, and talk to a total stranger about the worst subject on the planet.........politics!!

How the hell anyone gives a second of credence to any of the polls is beyond me. And the majority of those polls have less than 2500 respondents, so how do they extrapolate that to 300,000,000 potential voters?

I'll take the online polls, done voluntarily, on people's own time, with 80,000 respondents for my "honest" polling.

I think you are entirely wrong about Perry and Paul, but you have hit on something with the Palin/Rubio ticket. I wouldn't like that ticket, but it would be extremely popular! It could go all the way to the Whitehouse!

I'd much rather see a Paul/Rubio, or Paul/Cain, or Rubio/Cain.

I will not be watching the Obama speech tonight.
I already know what he will be saying.
Can you already see Nancy Pelosi jumping up and down like a nut applauding
Obama for his all new $Trillion government job programs?
Socialism doesn't work.

A Palin/Rubio ticket would give us a fresh start in the right direction.

Palin would bring the USA farther down than Obama and Bush have combined. That woman is the definition of stupid.

I disagree. She might be bad for foreign policy, but Obama's apology tour didn't do too well either, so she couldn't be any worse.

She has a lot of common sense, and she seems to support smaller government.

I don't particularly like her, and she doesn't hold a candle to Ron Paul, but she would still be an improvement over the status quo.

I only saw the start of the debate, the two times Newt came up, he hit homeruns. He saw the big picture..... The media was going to try and get Republicans talking ill of other Republicans, all for the benefit of President Obama. He was the only one following Ronald Reagan's 11th commandment Newt will never win the nomination but will be an asset to the Republican party. I can see a lot of the lesser candidates getting cabinet level jobs.....
