This is short and sweet because it's painfully obvious that all those who continue to Bash America and The American people obviously wish that that America and The American People were doing things different. Lets face it. If you complain about something, you must feel affected by it. So if your were not affected by it, you wouldn't complain. Which also means you were reaping the benifits of America. The same America and Americans that you now need because your waking up to the fact that America does have the power to make you rant or make you sleep better..

Just ignore it. I myself still read them, but I never post in them. I'd rather just not fuel it any or complain which would just entice them to reply. But like them, you're entitled to your rants so.. that's just how I do it.

I'm not trying to attack you or start a flame war, but I seriously doubt that many US citizens have much comprehension about the world outside of their own country. Most American's are not even aware that Arab extremists were threatening the USA long (long) before 911 happened because of supporting Israel.

Nothing, not 1 thing, the US (government, military) has done in the past 15 years has made it any easier for me to sleep at night, quite the opposite.

Decisions the US makes reverberate all around the world and affect us all. The US up and decided to be the world police, we didn't make that choice and we're certainly not going to hold our tongues as the US single handed destroys the world economy, destabilizes the middle east, destroys the environment and creates an even wider gap between the rich and poor, all for the profit of a few well placed people and corporations.

You don't want us "bashing" what your country is doing? Stay the hell out of our business and maybe we can talk.

Yep, after reading Robert Gates statement back in June of 2011, it's not us wanting to be world police but rather than your government refuse to commit operations you refuse to do and asked us to take the lead and us always us spending more money to defend Europe and Canda so they could spend on their own welfare. Pretty pathetic of you guys whining and complaining while in FACT your government refuse to commit your own weight and it's us doing most of the work. What had other countries done lately besides us doing most of the work?

While i do not live in america, last i recalled they had some of the most racist people on the continent. Not saying that this is true. But it is very prevalent. Ask some of your american friends about china or russian and see how many insults including 'unable to see' or 'commies' are involved.

Just saying. Its everywhere. But the american government makes a bad name for the american people. Blame them, not the people bashing you.

Rubbish, I mention the fact that we are Socialist here, I get branded a Nazi or Communist.

Well, what happens in America tends to have a domino effect around the world simply because of its status in said world, which is the biggest reason non-Americans take such an interest, once America is pushed off the top spot in the coming years i am sure the anger and finger pointing from non-Americans will be directed elsewhere.

Of course after all, the US should not have been involved in first world war by entangling alliance with the UK. That's the reason why the Germans sunk our submarines in the 1st place and we got dragged into WW1 as a result. Guess what, Now NATO is asking us to get more involved into Libya by placing our ground troops. I seriously think US should cut off spending defending for bunch of spoiled ungrateful babies. Hopefully when the next world war comes out in Europe or something we just sit back and watch,

Nah not a lot of Americans here branded you guys as socialist, some here but a lot of us knows what socialism is. The only time we tease is is making fun of you but in return you guys get all upset at us. And i noticed it online.

We are all sensitive to the hate being thrown at our countries and no one is immune to that.. I have grown up with my country and nationality being bashed by just about everyone (that especially includes Americans)

But I don't honestly feel it worth the effort to post threads about it as all that does is stoke the fires even more.. once you let the hated get to you you'll never escape being pulled in by it and you risk it consuming you, unless in your case it already has..

I am sorry but it is not as one sided as you seem to wish it.. throughout my life even when America was held up as a very dear and close friend where Americans still quite happy to bash my nationality..

I know you might not like to hear it but this kind of bashing it is a two way street and happens all over the world.. America is not immune to either being on the receiving end of nasty comments or in dishing it out.

I don't want to point the finger, but do you realise that the longest war in the last hundred years has been the Iraq invasion in the name of stopping WMD production by those loyal to Saddam and to target terrorists responsible for 911? The same invasion that was repelled by the UN, yet the US forces invaded anyway. Without UN support.

As i recall, the US and it's allies give the UN the authority to check on Iraq during the 1991 Gulf War ceasefire agreement, a ceasefire meaning the war doesn't end, UNSC Resolution 687 says clearly, the UNSC "Decides to ... take such further steps as may be required for the implementation of the present resolution and to secure peace and security in the area."

As the resolution WAS NOT fully implemented, and as peace and security WERE NOT secured, the UNSC violated its own Resolution 687. The UNSC for the last 12 years wasn't forcing compliance into Iraq, meaning they violated it's own agreement. Proving that the UN should not such authority in doing so.

By "ungrateful babies"....Do you mean the Libyan rebels?

Don't know much but the rebels do act like what the people in the middle east is doing.

Although I (mostly) got over my sensitivity when I was young. What I was trying to remark on in my posts is that each nation tends to pick up on the criticism directed at them and gloss over the criticism aimed at other countries or comments from fellow countrymen/women.

And for the record the largest portion of my family are American.

I love how they move my thread to rant and below top secret!! But if someone wants to start another "America Done me Wrong Song" Its plastered all over the main pages.. How does that work in a "Balanced" Forum? hmmm It almost seems, no , it does seem like this is another bash Americans and throw it in The American Peoples faces.. Morale Degredation intended? I don't know. Do you?
PS. Not that I care, but the fact remains you can pretty much tell the slant and where it comes from by the S/F you receive???????
