I think that Ron Paul's opposition research team should be looking for some financial connection between Perry and this company that makes the Gardisil product.

Already found one:

Anita (his wifey) and
Rick Perry explains his executive order mandating eleven-year-old girls take a HPV vaccine by saying ‘I hate cancer ‘. Well, who doesn’t?

That’s merely a dodge because doctors who know more about cancer than Governor Perry opposed his order requiring every girl to take a brand new vaccine without a long safety record. The pro-family Texas Eagle Forum called it ‘ follow the money ‘ politics. And why wouldn’t they when the vaccine maker, Merck, which stood to mint money if Governor Perry made every Texas girl buy their product, gave Perry a campaign contribution the very day his staffers were meeting to plan the vaccine mandate?
But another follow the money tie has gone unnoticed.

Rick Perry’s wife Anita had been a Merck consultant while working in a lobbying firm as her husband climbed the state government ladder. Anyone think that’s Tea Party ideals? The Rick Perry vaccine mandate issue is simple and basic. Who should make decisions about your child’s health? You and your doctor or a follow the money politician like Rick Perry?

Because he is smart and he knew once Perry approached him in that manner that people saw this, photographs were taken and he already 'won' that battle. Ron Paul knew how the internet and media would react to it and he knew that the only way to play it was to be the man and call it nothing while the rest of the world sees Perry's arrogance and bad manner for what it is.

When we select a president, we want somebody that looks at the big picture before pulling the trigger. Imagine if Perry actually had national power and the military at his beck and call? worse than 01-08!

Well that was interesting. I figured there would be a Perry / Gardisil financial link. Looks pretty obvious. I wonder how the Governor has lived it down so far given Texas politics is rarely this forgiving?

Epic reply! The_Zomar for the win.

Paul has and will kick ass in any debate. An intelligent, well spoken, true American... I have no say in this because I don't live in the states anymore, but I can tell a leader from a bully...
Also, that picture of Putin ^ above.... True leader form. Like a boss...

Well said, although the idea of boss, is distinct from leader, I prefer leader.
BTW, I saw some video of the debate, the camera work is pure, 's got talent' and the moderators were 'anchors, did I spell that wrong?

Thanks for posting OP.

For me as a foreigner following this, it highlights what an absolutely cool and professional statesman Paul is, and what an absolutely condescending tool / fool Perry is.

Didn't like the corporate bias and disparity in the amount of speaking times given to each of them..corruption follows the corrupt Perry, and tries to ignore the noble and honest Paul...blatant.

Paul, the way i see it, is the only candidate that will drag the USA out of the hole it's in..not just financially, but in every other way.

I guess an Honest and world respected United States is thought to be bad for business by the elites....seems that way to me anyway.

Ron Paul for President 2012.
