SAN CLEMENTE, Calif. -- The suspect who sparked an evacuation at San Clemente High School has turned himself in, but the search continues at the school for possible explosives.
Sheriff's Department spokesman Jim Amormino said the naval officer, identified as 22-year-old Daniel Morgan, turned himself in at a hospital at Camp Pendleton.
Authorities at Camp Pendleton said Morgan was reported missing, and when officials checked his barracks, they found a note indicating he had, or was going to, place explosives at the school.
