I was actually looking for the "Dance Moms" episode in which the outfits looked like this one, but it was even more slutty! I couldn't find it on You Tube. In the episode, the moms were outraged, and had no control over the routine or the costumes. But they signed the releases for them to be on a reality show!

It was episode 2, of Dance Moms Reality Show on Lifetime, that the totally inapropriate number aired. It seems to have been pulled from Lifetime, and no You Tubes available of it. There are mirrors of it, but I don't how to get them.

I haven't read all 15 pages of this thread and if this has been mentioned sorry to repeat.

Even if you were to somehow stop the show "toddlers and tiaras" from airing on The Learning Channel it doesn't change the fact that this is happening to little girls every day. Not all are being aired on television but thousands of girls are put into pageants by their parents daily. At least because TLC has aired this show you now realize this is happening to children.

Not only should this show be stopped but all these pageants should be stopped also. There should be an age limit of maybe 13/14 before they can begin pageants. Having babies dressed as hookers is an awful thing but this costume is actually tame compared to some of the others on this show.

I have a 2 year old daughter myself and the thought of showing her this way is beyond my comprehension. There's no way we would do this to her.

If you notice, most of these mothers are obese and trying to live through their daughters. Sick and shameful to say the least.

It's a story of maturation and empowerment.

Perhaps the mothers view of the costumes message isn't evil and expoitive. Perhaps it is the assumptions of the viewers that are at question?

Then we should all be escorts and prostitutes to get through tough times. Rich prostitution and poor prostitution are the same thing.

However if any children would like to Hug others in an non sexual way it is not allowed?

Naked Baby Photos Lead to Parents' Arrest

The case of a Utah couple charged with a crime for photos they took of a father kissing his naked baby is far from clear cut and simple. It will take a while to fully understand the rights and wrongs of photographing your naked baby. These particular Utah parents were arrested and deported, and others could run into similar problems.

What happed to Alma Vasquez and Sergio Diaz-Palomino this past spring has brought up questions about how safe it is, not just for children, but for their parents, to post naked baby pictures online. Or, in this case, to send them to Walgreens to be developed, reports MSNBC. The Utah couple sent pictures to the local Walgreens which showed Diaz-Palomino kissing his son's buttocks and allegedly his genitals after the couple bathed the infant. A worker flagged the pictures for police who arrested the couple. Although charges of sexual exploitation of a minor and sexual abuse were dropped, both parents were deported.

Naked baby pictures that were once considered harmless, like bathtub time, or shots of kids running naked through the sprinklers, are now considered possible child porn. Some parents are now rethinking posting baby pictures online with sites such as Flicker or Facebook because they are worried about who could see them. Then there is the danger of harmless pictures being viewed as anything but harmless by authorities. Child pornography can be legally defined as the production, possession or distribution of pornographic materials that exploit or portray a minor. Obviously, this definition could catch a wide range of images in its net.

But then these laws are not being used where they should and abused where they shouldnt!
