Subliminal Communication

...is the process whereby you receive and respond to a visual or sound message without being aware of it. The message in the form of printed words, pictures or voices is presented either so rapidly or faintly that you are not consciously aware of having seen or heard anything. But you react to it anyway. Messages programmed directly to the subconscious by-pass critical analysis and the conscious choice to accept or reject the message.

Repetition of the message constitutes mental programming. Have you consciously noticed the background of this website, for example?

have all heard about the experiment many years ago in which a movie theater flashed a beverage ad across the screen during the film. What was the result of such seemingly harmless dribble? Sales of that drink increased dramatically! These subliminal messages were then banned, right?

What if similar techniques infiltrated our evening news or the countless hours of television Americans are watching?

Is television providing the effect necessary to change our subconscious thoughts?

Have behavioral psychologists waged psychological warfare through the mass media and the alteration of our education?

Just as relevant today as when it was first released in 1976, the movie "Network" prophetically reveals what is wrong with society because of television.

Who is in control of influencing our thinking?

What is the ultimate goal of this psychological strong-arming?

Psychological warfare and economic warfare work together. If the American people understood the dishonest nature of the money system, they would not tolerate it.

People in positions of power are where they are because they know some things that the rest of the people do not know. Secret knowledge is the basis of all power. This is how a ruling class comprised of a relatively small number of people can control, manipulate and govern the masses.

Extreme Backward Masking - Reversing song to reveal hidden message

Today I had such a bad experience with an outsourced call center, being transferred, being put on hold and listening to the same weird song over and over again I wondered if they were using subliminal messages. It didn’t stop my anger that they took unauthorized money from my bank account but they had me believing it hadn’t happened even though I had looked at my account a few times over the weekend and knew I was correct. On top of that they double billed that same amount today, yet almost had me thinking I was nuts. It must have been something in the music, is my conclusion. I did finally get it resolved by being persistent and calling back 5 times asking for a ticket number for verification.

Subliminal Messages are mainly used for, profit, influence, diplomacy, discipline, manner, behavior, confusion and presence, among other things.

I once read something about people buying items they never used. One woman bought dog food and didn’t own a dog. I think they made it illegal to use in the US in stores now. Since we now do most business with Foreign Call Centers it makes me wonder what their laws are. Most likely none.

My question is; Are Foreign Call Centers we deal with using this subliminal messaging technique. We know that Most Arab Countries play music from loud speakers ALL day long. There must be a message in there somewhere. Even though outsourcing to India, for instance is closer to the Arab world Pakistan and also connected to China. Do they have anything to gain by using this technique? We know mind control is already occurring by the US Media and across the globe. If they were smart they’d subliminally make people happy to be put on hold and get the run around.
With all the Civil Unrest happening around the globe, War would be one consideration.

Mind control by subliminal communication...is it happening? Yes..I believe it is...not just through TV, but music and movies too. At least some of us are aware of it...I am thinking also...about certain chemicals that are added to food...that mess with the brain like (aspartame)...I think they are a part of mind control too.

Here is a link to a consolidated history of some of the mind control methods....full of information.

Good post OP.

Everyone should be aware how subs are used daily to bombard you with visuals and audio to bypass your your critical faculties. Subs are everywhere you go.

I have studied and played with subs and other similar technologies for decades. Their use is worldwide. NLP is also common to see being used now. In everything from commercials, to stand-up comedy, to Hollyweird movies.

If you have an interest in this, you might want to read a book called "The clam plate orgy". Can't recall the authors name, but it's a good intro to visual subliminal advertising. And it's wide spread use. It's an old book, but a good one.

The Australian government used Subliminal messages in it's state lottery advertising back when they were about to introduce the GST. They imprinted a barely perceptible GST watermark in the black background of the lucky lotteries commercials on TV.
I can only hope this form of mass brainwashing has been outlawed here in Oz as well.
but then again, there are people running around thinking the newly introduced Carbon Tax is a good thing..so go figure..I rarely watch commercial television thesedays so can't comment on whether they are running a carbon tax psy-op on the australian Public this time around.

Yes it's amazing, as to what lengths they will go for visual subliminal advertising. We give our brains little appreciation in relation with it's capabilities. We pick up a lot more than we can understand. They bank on this fact.

I,m not sure what your commercials are like in Australia but the ones here used to be so boreing everyone usually got up to do something else while they ranted. Now they are so funny you rush back to see some of them. They are usually only the auto insurance ones though. I hope those wouldnt need subliminal messaging.

It's a scary thing theyve used the subliminal watermark on your lucky lottery commercials! Of all things to entice people to break bank by gambing away their savings. Wow.

i sometimes think the adman, marketers, producers and directors of television are selling subliminal and overt messages to the business exec who is buying the ad. Hence, some of the messages aren't necessarily designed for the general public as they are designed more toward the exec or company/owner purchasing the television ad or programing. So you find out what the ad or program purchaser is "into" and throw images of that into the commercial or program. Or you "sell" the company the idea that sublimation in advertising works and that you'll use it to get them customers (this depends on the ethical standards of the company). Because the adman really wants to sell his product (the commercials or programs) more than the product of the company who is purchasing the commercial.
Although where it concerns government or agenda driven propaganda i think it would be any means available and/or necessary (whether it actually is proven to work or not - kinda a kitchen sink mentality).

Part of the subliminal messages increasing sales is a myth originally perpetuated by men like: James Vicary, Vance Packard, and later Wilson Key (who more than anything were selling themselves and their ideas/books).

The FCC's policy is that subliminal advertising intentions are to be deceptive, not necessarily that they (the FCC) thought it worked. Data from Vicary couldn't be repeated in a controlled environment, and it was public awareness of "subliminal persuation" (or "subliminal seduction") that made the FCC rule it as intending to be deceptive sometime back in the early 70's. Although on the other hand, i think that if they were able to prove it actually worked they wouldn't let "us" know about it.
A more accurate view into any type of "thought control" using multi-media goes back to Edward Bernays (Freud's nephew and the guy who helped make Freud famous - but that's a whole other topic)

On another thought about subliminal images...

If you sit in front of your TV without it being turned on you will notice the black mirror like quality of the screen reflecting an image of yourself sitting in front of the TV (same thing happens with your computer monitor).

So "subliminally" there is an image of yourself reflected back to yourself on the TV while you are watching the TV (or an image of yourself in your monitor).
In a way we are always looking at ourselves subliminally when watching TV or when we are at our computers.

i couldn't say what the effect might be caused by subtle images of ourselves being placed in (on/over/under) the main image on a television/computer screen. It's almost like looking in a mirror but the mirror also shows us other overlaid images so we kinda forget we are always staring at our reflection and think we are just paying attention to the overlaid image. Anyway, does anyone think this constant viewing of our reflections also might be having an effect on us?

[PS. i used to be in the business of television and commercial production and training videos. i was a producer/director/script-writer/editor... One of the hardest things to do about that job is write a script and time it out so it is exactly 29 seconds long. i can also say that a lot of television comercials are strictly ego driven, as the lawyers, car dealers, resturanteurs etc. just want to be on TV in their commercials. And some are lust driven as they (the company man) wants to meet actresses and models or impress some woman.]

i am intrigued by the idea of thought control through mass media and do think music and movies seem to have a more profound aspect than television. As people will LOVE certain music and movies whereas they don't ususally have the same kind of attachment to TV.

Very useful information.
I do not know what to do. I need software to automate sales. I need a call center. Are you a programmer? Do not you develop this? I was advised by this company voiptimecloud.com... . I'm looking for a freelancer. Difficult theme. It is difficult to find a specialist. What do you say?
