This is a technological Rant!!

Okay...for most torrents I use NovaTorrent cuz it seems to go faster most of the time. But more and more trackers use a newer protocol and NovaTorrent doesnt use it. So iv been downloading a 4gb file for about 3 weeks now...not getting very good speeds from people. And then the person owning the tracker updates it!!! NovaTorrent rejects it and wont download anymore!!!! GOD DAMNIT!!!! WHY DID THEY HAVE TO UPGRADE?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?! GRRRRRRRR!!!!

What in the world is this? I was trying to download (or open) the Monk link ya showed me...but I can't.

I'm guessing I can't on dial up or I need some program???

Torrents a shells of the files that you download. It makes the files on the hard drive but they are filled with zeros...so theres nothing there. You open the torrents with a BitTorrent client and it contacts the "tracker" on a server and that finds all the computers with the same exact file. The tracker manages the file download. If your on dialup then you might not wanna try it. An hour long tv show is about 350mb.
