Son of a bit... according to your data I'm related to them as well. Ugh! We're all related to Edward I, King of England (d. 1307) m. Eleanor of Castile, best known in Mel Gibson's movie Braveheart. But I descend from Catherine Parr, Henry the VIII last wife, the one he didn't kill.

Here's a fun fact, Henry VIII daughter, Lady Mary, is where we get Bloody Mary from. I have no blood ties to her

I would not doubt it being as every country he visits he claims to have ties to.

Vice President Dick Cheney and aspiring Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama may not share a political philosophy, but they do share a family tree.

The vice president's wife, Lynne, said during an interview with MSNBC on Tuesday that her husband and Obama were eighth cousins, a fact she discovered while researching family ancestry for her new memoir.

Fox News on Wednesday also cited a report last month in the Chicago Sun-Times, which indicated Obama also had a distant genealogical connection to President Bush. The two are 11th cousins.

So? It's almost impossible NOT to be related. How many parents do you have? Two! Good. How many grandparents? Four. Good. Now do the math. Figure four generations per century, so people had kids by age 25. They probably had them earlier and later, so this is an average. Now compute 2 to the 40th power to get back to 1066, the invasion of England by the Normans. How nany ancestors do you have? Trillions, right? What was the population of the world in 1066?

If the genalogy charts are correct, Prince Charles is my 20th cousin. So are you. It just depends on which line you want to follow. It amazes me that people are amazed at this. It's just simple math.
