This is just a feel good thing.....I smiled the whole way through. This guy rescues this baby hummingbird...and it stays with him and won't leave him, and so becomes his pet...so sweet! There should be more people like this. I just wanted to share it and hopefully bring a smile to you all in case you haven't had one today....Hope you enjoy!

That's so adorable!

Thank you for posting this. It certainly made me smile and I also thought how sweet it was of him (the young guy) for taking the time to feed it and taking care of it. That shows he is a nice young lad. If only more teenagers were like that

Awesome vid Kat, thankyou. I was also in a foul mood as several of the threads on here made me angry.
The flower the little guy was feeding off looked like bottle brush, an Australian variety so that gives me a good reason to feel a touch of pride as well.
p.s did you ever find out why your animals were freaking out a few weeks back?

That was really sweet.
It's nice to find a positive topic in the news feed amongst all the apocalypse/conspiracy theory threads.
It definitely did warm the heart, the sheer size of the baby bird is adorable.
I went and gave my cat a good scratching under the chin, after I watched this

I think so....right after that, my little cocker spaniel Heidi passed away. I think they (the cats) knew something was wrong, and were trying to wake me up. But as for the others outside, I really never found out for sure.

Thanks StealthyKat! We got one in our tent this summer in the mountains. It calmed down and let my friend's girl scoop it up and take it out where it could fly away...great animals!

I never realized they were that tame....I have always seen them and thought it would be awesome to hold one.
