Copernicus was wrong, but he was 99.9% more right then any religious authority of his day.

Shocking, I know.

Wrong is wrong 100%, shocking I know, of the time so your point is pointless.

Anything to justify your discontent.

I already told you the "star of david" is an occult symbol used in their rituals...... NOT Christian...... do you not understand that?

But it is also the Jewish symbol – so why are you surprised that Jews would be made to wear it to identify who they are?

Okay so you quoted form the Bible.... they are talking about the Talmud practicing Jews.
Talmud came from Sumeria, it is the religion of Babylon.
The money changers were part of the Temple.

Please excuse my lack of bible knowledge but I always assumed 1 Thessalonians was in the New Testament – look it even mentions Jesus by name and killing him - so what in this passage are you not clear on?

Your point seems totally pointless when you actually look to history,

It seems more like YOU hate the Christians as you deny evidence.

I bet you didn't even watch the documentary because it is too long and would crush your make believe history with facts.

People may hate others, religions are not people and therefore cannot have emotions.

Get over your hatred, open your mind.

I already posted that God is Love and the path to God is by practicing it. If you can't make the separation of those not following that and those that are that is your problem.

Christian love - well given Christianity’s history I’m not going to get all misty eyed about that - moving on

Reading your posts again.

You should investigate Constantine's creation of the Roman Catholic Church.
RCC is PAGAN tradition with a "Christian" face. Constantine was crucifying the Christians before that......
Rome just switched from the Empire to the Roman Catholic Church.

They are not Christian, there is plenty of documentation of this.
Just look up Pope is anti christ or vatican is anti christ.

Common, you know about the mystery schools then you should know their true influence.

Did you know, I bet myself a jammy dodger that you would be blaming the Catholics before the end of the day – so thanks

and as it happens I got some posts from someone today about hating other religions that you might like (just swap the word Christian for catholic in the first one)

I really wish the haters on Christianity would accept that there are other religions that have massive influence on the world so they would stop being so blind to the big picture.

People may hate others, religions are not people and therefore cannot have emotions.

Get over your hatred, open your mind.

You did not seem very clear on religious history. Catholicism prays to Mary and saints it is NOT monotheistic when one offers worship to anyone other than God. I hope that is clear enough for you.

If it is not monotheistic it is not Christian.

The symbol comes from Sumeria, Egypt and the Hermetic traditions. It is similar to the Masons' compasses. The arrow up imposed over the arrow down represents the union of positive and negative. Like ying and yang. It also means different things if it is interlocking in different ways.

Star of David
en.wikipedia.org...

The hexagram has been in use as a symbol of Judaism since the 17th century, with precedents in the 14th to 16th centuries in Central Europe, where the Shield of David was partly used in conjunction with the Seal of Solomon (the hexagram) on Jewish flags. Its use probably derives from medieval (11th to 13th century) Jewish protective amulets (segulot).

That means thousands of years meaning something else. . . . .

I Ching
en.wikipedia.org...

The oldest method for casting the hexagrams, the yarrow stalk method, was gradually replaced during the Han Dynasty by the three coins method and the yarrow stalk method was lost.[3] With the coin method, the probability of yin or yang is equal while with the recreated yarrow stalk method of Zhu Xi (1130–1200),[4] the probability of old yang is three times greater than old yin.[5]

There have been several arrangements of the trigrams and hexagrams over the ages. The bā gùa is a circular arrangement of the trigrams, traditionally printed on a mirror, or disk. According to legend, Fu Xi found the bā gùa on the scales of a tortoise's back. They function like a magic square with the four axes summing to the same value, using 0 and 1 to represent yin and yang: 000 + 111 = 101 + 010 = 011 + 100 = 110 + 001 = 111.

The King Wen sequence is the traditional (i.e. "classical") sequence of the hexagrams used in most contemporary editions of the I Ching.

It was NOT Jewish until fairly recent history (Gee wonder how that happened?). Before that it was used in Pagan rituals that often involved sacrifices (human).

How many times and in how many different ways do I have to explain this to you?

Yes I know that the Star of David symbol is also important to other belief systems but according to you link

The hexagram has been in use as a symbol of Judaism since the 17th century

So it is >also< a symbol of Judaism and has been since 17th century

The cross is also an important and ancient symbol
en.wikipedia.org...

by your "logic" when Christians use the cross as their symbol they knowingly do so to worship the sun?

So if a Jewish person is made to wear the Star of David symbol to identify them as Jewish to others its because the Star of David is the symbol of Judaism and has been since the 17th century

(and just to make it clearer for you)
If in some terrible future, Christians are persecuted in the same why the Jew’s were then maybe the Christians would be made to wear a cross to identify them – since the cross is the symbol for Christianity

In the same way atheist might be made to wear that red A symbol

How can you call someone a worshiper of a faith if they don't know what they are worshiping?

You are only undermining pointing out that there are many people in this world who don't walk the talk.

And you are an idiot if you think Christians need another holocaust against them to wear a cross.

Why should I follow Jesus when all he did was lying to his people/followers:
Why do you follow the person who has lied from the beginning? Who is the unproven/false Messiah?

Jesus in John 14:12 & Mark 16:17-18 said: "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth in me, the works that I do shall he also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father." This implies that Jesus’ true followers should be able to routinely perform the following tricks: 1) cast out devils, 2) speak in tongues, 3) take up serpents, 4) drink poisons without harm, and 5) cure the sick by touching them and MANY other of Jesus’ "works". Curiously I have yet to see a Christian that can do any of the above on demand.

In John 14:13-14 Jesus stated: "And whatsoever ye ask in my name I do, that the Father may be glorified in the son. If ye ask any thing in my name, I will do it." In reality, millions of people have made millions of requests in Jesus’ name and failed to receive satisfaction. This promise or prophecy has failed completely.

Paul says Christianity lives or dies on the Resurrection (1 Corinthian 15:14-17). Yet Jesus said in Matthew 12:40 that he would be buried three days and three nights as Jonah was in the whale three days and three nights. Friday afternoon to early Sunday morning is only one and a half days, so he could not have been the messiah by his own and Paul’s admission.

Jesus’ prophecy in John 13:38 ("The cock shall not crow, till thou [Peter] hast denied me three times") is false. Mark 14:66-68 shows the cock crowed after the first denial, not the third.

In Mark 10:19 Jesus said: "Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, do not steal, do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother." Jesus needs to re-read the Ten Commandments. There is no Old Testament commandment against defrauding. The only relevant statement about defrauding is in Leviticus 19:13 , which says : "Thou shalt not defraud thy neighbor." This is an OT law, but is not listed with the Ten Commandments. Surely, if Jesus was god incarnate he would know the commandments.

"And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven" (John 3:13). If Jesus is in heaven, how can he be down on earth speaking? Moreover, according to 2 Kings 2:11 ("and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven") Jesus was not the only person to ascend into heaven, nor was he the first. Elijah preceded him and apparently Enoch did also ("And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him"--Genesis 5:24).

In Luke 23:43 Jesus said to the thief on the cross, "Today shalt thou be with me in paradise." This obviously has to be false, for Jesus was supposed to lay dead in the tomb for three days following his crucifixion.

Jesus says : "Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbor, and hate thine enemy" (Matthew 5:43). This statement does not exist in the OT either. In fact, Proverbs 24:17 says, "Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth…"

Jesus is reported to say: "The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it" (Luke 16:16). Certainly every man is not pressing to enter the kingdom of God. The very fact that I am an atheist (one third of the world’s population does not believe in a god) proves this verse to be false.

"Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the Sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the Sabbath, and are blameless?" (Matthew 12:5) Nowhere does the OT state that the priests in the temple profaned the Sabbath and were considered blameless.

"Yea; have ye never read, 'Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise'" (Matthew 21:16). Jesus is quoting Psalm 8:2, which says, "Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies…". "Perfect praise" has little to do with "ordaining strength because of thine enemies." Another misquotation!

"But I say unto you, That Elias is indeed come, and they have done unto him whatsoever they listed, as it is written of him" (Mark 9:13). There are no prophecies in the OT of things that were to happen to Elijah.

And by the way: Hitler was a Christian:
Hitler was baptized as Roman Catholic during infancy in Austria.

As Hitler approached boyhood he attended a monastery school. (On his way to school young Adolf daily observed a stone arch which was carved with the monastery’s coat of arms bearing a swastika.)

Hitler was a communicant and an altar boy in the Catholic Church.

As a young man he was confirmed as a “soldier of Christ.” His most ardent goal at the time was to become a priest. Hitler writes of his love for the church and clergy: “I had excellent opportunity to intoxicate myself with the solemn splendor of the brilliant church festivals. As was only natural, the abbot seemed to me, as the village priest had once seemed to my father, the highest and most desirable ideal.” -Adolf Hitler (Mein Kampf)

Hitler was NEVER excommunicated nor condemned by his church. Matter of fact the Church felt he was JUST and “avenging for God” in attacking the Jews for they deemed the Semites the killers of Jesus.

Hitler, Franco and Mussolini were given VETO power over whom the pope could appoint as a bishop in Germany, Spain and Italy. In turn they surtaxed the Catholics and gave the money to the Vatican. Hitler wrote a speech in which he talks about this alliance, this is an excerpt: “The fact that the Vatican is concluding a treaty with the new Germany means the acknowledgement of the National Socialist state by the Catholic Church. This treaty shows the whole world clearly and unequivocally that the assertion that National Socialism [Nazism] is hostile to religion is a lie.” Adolf Hitler, 22 July 1933, writing to the Nazi Party

Hitler and the Popeg) Hitler worked CLOSELY with Pope Pius in converting Germanic society and supporting the church. The Church absorbed Nazi ideals and preached them as part of their sermons in turn Hitler placed Catholic teachings in public education. This photo depicts Hitler with Archbishop Cesare Orsenigo, the papal nuncio in Berlin. It was taken On April 20, 1939, when Orsenigo celebrated Hitler’s birthday. The celebrations were initiated by Pacelli (Pope Pius XII) and became a tradition.

Each April 20, Cardinal Bertram of Berlin was to send “warmest congratulations to the Fuhrer in the name of the bishops and the dioceses in Germany with “fervent prayers which the Catholics of Germany are sending to heaven on their altars.” (If you would like to know more about the secret dealings of Hitler and the Pope I recommend you get a book titled: Hitler’s Pope: The Secret History of Pius XII, by John Cornwell)

Due to Hitler’s involvement with the Church he began enacting doctrines of the Church as law. He outlawed all abortion, raged a death war on all homosexuals, and demanded corporal punishment in schools and home. Many times Hitler addressed the church and promised that Germany would implement its teachings: “The National Socialist State professes its allegiance to positive Christianity. It will be its honest endeavor to protect both the great Christian Confessions in their rights, to secure them from interference with their doctrines (Lehren), and in their duties to constitute a harmony with the views and the exigencies of the State of today.” –Adolf Hitler, on 26 June 1934, to Catholic bishops to assure them that he would take action against the new pagan propaganda “Providence has caused me to be Catholic, and I know therefore how to handle this Church.” -Adolf Hitler, reportedly to have said in Berlin in 1936 on the enmity of the Catholic Church to National Socialism

It is funny, communism usually does things in the name of communism not Atheism, like christianity doing things in the name of christanity and not Theism.

Was the Christian crusade done in the name of Christianity or Theism?

Can you see the difference?

What is the Theist response to the unreligious? Is it Christianity, Islam, Hinudusim, Buddism, etc. in USA, Iraq, India, Japan, etc.?

It is rather strange how often people cannot tell the difference between Atheism and Communism.

As we both know Jesus never said to kill anyone and I clearly stated, "Not saying that Hitler's religious beliefs made him do what he did. He was just bat sh*t crazy."

I'm not blaming anyone for what Hitler did except for Hitler however his belief that he was acting in accordance to god's will helped empower him to do what he did. Like I said I'm not blaming anyone but Hitler. He could have used any religion to further his cause.

And, if they would have asked me (and those among my friends and family) they would have gotten correct answers for all of their questions. Also, I would have told them their map was wrong and elaborated on why I don't believe in invading any countries when asked where we should invade next. Footage on that sort of thing is easy to manipulate. I'm sure I could go to North Korea/Iran/Australia (dang, it's just so hard to keep straight) and get similar results.
