This happens to me, too.
Pale blue-grey most of the time, but darker or lighter depending on mood, and alternating between bright blue and kind of a slate color, also
depending on mood/lighting.
I think some degree of color shift is normal (particularly with blue eyes) due to blood pressure changes and perception, but...
I've always wondered if the color shifts associated with hazel eyes might be separate from the traits for iris color and might be passed from a
parent and paired with any other eye color, resulting in hazel-like shifts within a spectrum not normally associated with hazel eyes.
So, genetically, a person might have hazel eyes that "look" blue, or green, or etc.
Always wondered, because my parents were brown-eyed + hazel-eyed, and mine are blue... but I have a sister whose eyes are also blue, and hers are
always the same color. Maybe she's just less moody?
