Hi, before I begin I'd like to say that I wasn't sure where to post this, and mods can feel free to move it wherever they think it's necessary. Please, if you move it, just tell me where . I wasn't sure if I should post this here because I'm not sure if it's a medical thing, my imagination, or something else. Sometimes when I get really mad...and I mean REALLY mad, not just pissed off, or upset. I mean the kind of mad where you've just given up on everything and life and wouldn't care if you died. When you're so mad...you lose complete control of yourself and do things you normally would NOT do (I'm sure it's happened at least once to everyone). It happened to me just about a week ago, when alot of things were going wrong and my family was just making it worse. I got really mad/upset (Alot of personal things here that I would rather not mention), lost control...did some things (haha) and was ready to go on a long walk through the desert (I find that cools me down) when I look in the mirror. My eyes were different. They're normally blue. Sort of a dull blue. This time, they were turqoise, and they were BRIGHT. It's only happened to me once or twice before that, years ago. Since then, I thought it was just my childish imagination, or bad memory. That was until it happened again (as mentioned above.)

After the walk, when I was cooled down, I looked in the mirror again. They were back to normal. Does anyone know of anything like this? Does this happen to anyone else? I've heard that if you wear a certain color for a while, your eyes shift to that. Maybe it's something like that?

When i'm normal they are green/blue
When i'm really happy they turn a royal blue
And when I cry they turn aquamarine/turqoise.......

they've been known to turn grey/blue i've heard...... quite interesting actually, I do you have melanin or something in your eyes, they are always reproducing cells, I read an article on eyes, too bad I can't remember it though... I hate when that happens.

heh heh, good to hear I'm not crazy, or possessed or anything . Yeah, that is kinda weird how eyes do that.

an Ex girlfriend had green eyes. When she was very passsionate or very angry-her eyes darken in color-noticable.

Others have witnessed my eyes rapidly changing color when I was under the influence of certain psychedelics!!

Same here...my ex-girlfriend had these big beautiful eyes that would fluxuate between a very pale green (when she was upset or stressed out), an icey blue (when she was happy), and when she was just feeling normal they were a light smokey gray.....

mine are hazel anyway

hazel when normal
green when happy and wintertime
deep brown in summer and when annoyed
black in combat and in autumn

most days now my eyes are either black or they have gone a slight red colour once....weird stuff.

Mine are always this wierd shade of bright blue (people always ask if I wear color contacts)

When Im very emotional they turn navy bluish

And this is wierd, but it seems like when Im in the sun for a long time, they get lighter..and when I splash water on my face, or get in water, they turn wierd dark blue. They change all the time, but always stay blue. It just varies from turquious, to sea blue, to navy, etc.

Also, my pupils are really really big, all the time. Sometimes they almost take up the whole colored part of my eye. I dont know why. Anybody know anything about this? (Lol, im not a potsmoker, either btw)

My husband will tell,My eyes will change colour depending on my mood, the more intense t6he mood the more intense the colour change, at times
