Exactly, it's a symbol. I'm worried about protecting the values the flag represents, I couldn't care less about the cloth it's printed.

Political correctness. Those on the fringe right want to talk about political correctness, unless it involves their sensitivities. There's no evidence to suggest the Arabian flag was raised high on purpose and for goodness sakes, it's a flag, and you're whining about it's hight compared to other flags? Political correctness? I think we owe it to the patriots and our fore fathers to reclaim the land of the free. After watching the video of the history of the flag. I am much more disgusted and in disbelief at the people who are spitting on what so many people had died for.

I am soo saddned right now, I grew up with my father also serving in the U.S army for 20 years. I was an army brat and I was taught that the U.S were the good guys. I feel like crying right now, and really really angry at the people who refuse to believe that something is wrong and prefer to stay quiet. I have even read comments like "Let it fall" or "who cares". if it wasn't for the founders, they probably wouldn't even have been born in the first place. We all owe them our lives and yet...people ...sigh

I honestly feel like I am in a nightmare that i just wont wake up from. All for "Economic growth and filthy money".

In middle school, I got smart. I stopped saying the pledge while all the other zombies did so. I realized, wow this is REALLY weird. Why am I pledging ALLEGIANCE to a flag? I don't agree with this countries wars... why would I pledge allegiance to it.. a piece of cloth?

edit: Remember what happened when that college hippie at a Louisiana University tried to burn the flag in public, and announced he was going to do it? Hundreds showed up and protested, yelled at him, called him names, scared the bajesus out of him, and he got escorted away by police, fearing his safety.

I don't understand your Saudi Arabia comment. I am happy living here in the best city in the world. And I have no children. I don't know how many stars I have, I don't pay much attention to that, I just speak my mid and people seem to like that.

It seems this subject is so emotive people are not able to stop and think. I understand and have agreed with the notion that your flag should be flown highest - I would also fight allong side you if your rights to do this were being threatened. But all this is a storm in a tea cup! Someone made a mistake, get over it - I keep having to say that. You are not being invaded, or disrespected, or opressed - an error occured. Deal with it dudes, you are starting to look silly.

I swear your post just caused me to have some sort of epiphany. Michio Kaku once stated that the people who oppose this "worldview" will be considered terrorists by the NWO. Personally, I think there are cons and pros to a One World Government. It really depends on how it's structured and who is in control imo. As for this whole flag business, it's completely stupid. I agree with the those who say people shouldn't care so much about of piece of cloth...I think it's of grave importance that Americans learn to understand they wont always be on top.

Screw the other flags!! The only flags that should be flown in american schools are American flags and below that state flags. I agree with the OP on this one I believe it is time for this country to quit worrieing about hurting the fealings of other nations because they sure as heck dont care about America in those nations. Besides if these other people loved their country that much they wouldnt have left them to come here in the first place so bottom line is we dont need to be worried about other flags. Also if this guy is a principle of a school he should at least have the knowledge of how the american flag is to be flown. he needs to be seein the unemployment line really soon.

The U.S. has three levels of public schooling (generally speaking): elementary, which is 1st - 5th (or 6th) grades, middle, which is 6th - 8th (or 7th - 9th), and high school, which is up to 12th grade. Some variations are allowed, but this is the gist of it.

That picture did look like the American flag was kind of just haphazardly hung there. It didn't appear to have a stick to hold in the mounting bracket.Even I, a flag-waving U.S. citizen still (mostly) proud of his country, can accept that not everything is a conspiracy to ruin America. I'm not certain this incident was as it was reported.

There are many intelligent, wise and upstanding Americans on this Forum. People with whom it is a pleasure to debate difficult issues. You, sir, are not one of them. Bauder Principal, Brian Carpenter, told the Gazette the American flag is not normally in that location and someone had moved it next to the Saudi Arabian flag. He went on to say that the American flag has always been in a prominent position above the other international flags at the school.

I would bet you a weeks pay that some kid did this on purpose. To cause a fuss. Moved it, put it in a low possition and then took a picture. Kids are always trying to cause trouble for their schools. Kids are horrible, everyone knows this.

When the school received a phone call expressing concern about the flag, Carpenter placed the American flag back to its proper location within a matter of minutes. “The American flag is very important to us and this country so we treat it with respect.”

He fixed it immediately as he always threat the flag with respect.

According to the school, the purpose of the international flags is to recognize the nationality of the many students in the school who come from other countries. Carpenter said the school has many parents from other countries who attend Colorado State University.

Carpenter said the school has approximately 20 other flags besides the U.S. flag throughout the building. While the American flag is able to be seen by visitors entering the school, the Saudi Arabian flag is located in another pod where only someone who knew the inside of the school would see it.

What a lovely internationally sensative gesture. No wonder so many Americans don't understand it.

It isn't the cloth, it's what it represents, our country, our patriotism, our sovereignty. The NWO is trying to do away with not just American sovereignty, but the national sovereignty of all nations. That is what the whole NWO thing is about.
