If all you have to worry about is a piece of cloth, when every other day of your life you let the constitution just be trampled over.
Why do you care about the piece of cloth when you don't care about the constitution?
Now, back to your cubicle and get back to work and pay your bills.

It's more than a little telling reading how different people react to the same event. Symbolism is important to some and meaningless to others. If there were a Darwinian chart for true awareness and clarity of what's really important, I can't help but wonder where we'd all place.

It's really a shame you have nothing more to contribute than to ridicule a belief of a person.
Go tell the families of the men and women who die for the flag that it's just 'a piece of cloth'.
The flag is a symbol and has meaning. Somehow, I believe trying to explain this to you would be useless.

Don't turn it into a story about being forced into flying someone elses flag. I would also be against such rediculous laws. But that is not this story.

ok, forced was a strong word, however i still dont think a public school administrator should feel compelled for any reason to fly another countries flag at all.
a public school is a state institution, not a us embassy on foreign soil.
wasn't staged. sorry.
