Money rules the world! Just look at what's happening in Libya. They went in claiming it's a "humanitarian mission to save civilian lives", and now
they're already fighting over who gets the rights to oil exploration.
It's ONLY about the money, money from the defence and oil lobby mostly. They've been pushing for those wars like crazy. Why? Because selling weapons
makes $$$ and invading a country where previously making business was hard makes total sense if you can reap the financial benefits afterwards.
Not that anything will change or get better anytime soon. If a president gets a consentual blowjob from a secretary, it's on the national news for
months, and there's thorough investigations. If a president invades a country on DEMONSTRABLY false pretenses, lying to his people, costing the lives
of thousands of people...no real investigation takes place, and the media pretty much ignore it. They do that because if they're critical towards the
political guests they invite, they will lose access to them in the future...no guests, no shows, goodbye TV channel. As long as the media isn't
critical, forcing the politicians to act ethically, nothing will ever change, and the politicians will continue to work for the large
lobbies.
