Specifically I would like to have a picture appear on the post instead of the basic "Link to external Image." Can someone please help me understand how to do this? Thank you!

I've seen people using media.abovetopsecret.com but it isn't allowing new users to sign up for that site. Is there any other way to do this?

Sign in with your username/password that you are using here.
Copy the ATSIMG code under the uploaded picture to embed in your post.

or upload the image to tinypic and paste the "Forum and IM code" it gives you into your post.
